Hello everyone in this wonderful forum ,,,

I tried my best here to rebuild my rba to get 1.2ohm , I used the Kanthal wire with 24 gauge and made a 9 wraps but what I've got is 0.16 as shown in the pictures , please take a look and see what the problem in this rebuilding ????

I have another issue with the OCC 1.2ohm coils , they are gurgling so much , the one with the white ring is less gurgling.

Something isn't right - not sure how you could get .16Ω from 24g Kanthal - sounds like something is shorting. To get that with Kanthal, the diameter would be ridiculously small and from your pictures, that isn't true. I would try pushing down the coil slightly, perhaps it is making contact with the inner chamber. It appears to be high on one end.

Avoid Subtank Mini. It was a nightmare of a tank for me. The occ and the RBA used to spit waterfalls in my mouth during vaping. Kanger products are overrated.

You are right , it was a nightmare with the subtank mini , I have the Delta 2 and had no issue with the RBA at all , today I received a Kanthal wire with 28 gauge I'll do some rebuilds for the delta 2 .

I agree that your coil is too high. Try building it lower. If it touches the top it will short or read a crazy reading.

I have a few subtank minis and my builds are never that high. I build at .5 usually. Mine never gurgle or spit.

Good luck.

I tried a new build with the wire which comes with the delta 2 don't know what gauge it gives , on the subtank it gives me 1.66 but the problem is with gurgling and it spit a lot a lot :(

You probably have 28G if 9 or 10 wraps is giving you 1.6 - 1.7Ω.

Spaced coils should give you less spitting - if you're not stuck on that build I would go with something a little lower and space them out a bit. Maybe aim for 6 or 7 spaced wraps on a 2.5mm ID which should be a little over 1Ω. I personally favor .7 on the Mini RBA+ but I use 26G to get there.

yep. 28G kanthal at about 9-10 wraps is around 1.7-ish

as for the OP, sounds like the thing is shorting. As many mentioned, make sure hte coil isnt touching the top cap. Also, make sure the leads arent touching the side. Did the once and spot welded the bloody wire to the side cap!

As for spitting/popping, usually done either with thin juices or too little wick in the coil. Make sure the wick is snug in the coil.
