Subtank or Subtank plus?

I have the subtank mini and nano, as I like to change up flavors frequently. My hubby has the plus, he is a one flavor kinda guy. I have yet to use the rba that's included. I'm not much help. I really do enjoy the extra warmth I get from these tanks.

If you care about how it is going to look on your mod, the Plus is 25mm and a lot of mods seem to cater to the 22-23mm tanks/attys. The Plus doesn't look too bad on my Sigelei 100W+ or of course the Kanger KBox but it does look very odd on the iStick 30W;). As was stated above, the juice capacity is 4.5ml on the Mini and 7ml on the Plus. I've been using the Plus a lot lately and if I remember correctly there might be a little more airflow on the Plus as well. The RBA sections are now identical on both, as opposed to the original 25mm Subtank. The RBA section is fairly easy to work on albeit a little small but works very well if wicked correctly. You can find a lot of advice for that here and on YouTube. I have both the Mini and the Plus and I can say with absolute confidence both are great tanks for flavor and the options they give you. One last thing, if you do end up with either and you go with using the pre-built coils there is a little trick out there that involves using a small needle or safety pin to gently open up the cotton a little through the center of the coil to help with wicking. However, I can honestly say I never had a problem before using that method but as they say, your mileage may vary.

The plus has been great for me, I only vape one flavor so I don't need to worry about emptying and such. I have it on a iStick 50w and there is an overhang but it's not at all out of balance, it's hefty and solid. I really like it.

That said, I've never tried the original subtank so it's really up to you. Personally I got the plus because it was newer.

I have the plus and I love it but I'm a all day one flavor a day guy. I was using the pre made coils for about a week or two they are OK not great. Decided to dive into the RBA the other night haven't looked back. Imo get much better hits no tiny tiny bits of juice appearing on the airways over time etc.

It's a good tank but I'm already considering moving to something better lol addicted.... If you like to change flavors I'd go with the mini or nano and ditch the pre made use it as a emergency backup.

If it's between the subtank and subtank Plus go with the plus it the upgraded version. No swapping of the top when switching between the OCC and RTA deck.
Word. That wraps it all up. The Plus has a noticeable increase in airflow, as well and the RBA has larger juice channels.

I have used all the subtanks except the Nano. The Original Subtank, while lacking a bit in airflow works fine for that thick savory juice in a mouth to lung vape. The Subtank Mini with either the prebuilt coil or the RBA is great for keeping a variety of juices handy for a quick change. The Subtank Plus with larger capacity and airflow is what works well for that All Day Vape favorite flavor. I have a few Minis and one each of the original and Plus. All work well in prebuilt and RBA. I use them on 3 Istick 50w mods and the IPV4 with ni200 coils. The Subtank series has a lot of flexibility for a veriety of situations. Also they don't seem to require a lot of power and they prolong my battery life a great deal. I rarely have to go high wattage to get good vapor and flavor. I usually run 12W to 18W on the premade coils 0.5ohm and 1.2ohm I have not had any issues with any of the ones I have used. No leaks, no problems at all.

I'm no help specifically, but I have 2 minis and a nano. Anything bigger than a mini might have slight overhang on mods, if you're okay with that then go for it. The mini has a 4.5 ml tank which is pretty good and I love it. The nano is actually amazing also but way off from your needs. The nano seems to give the best flavor, nothing crazy bit noticeable. Must be the smaller tank?

i got 3 minis and not a prob with any no leaking or dry hits

you just need to get to know ya tanks and fine tune to ya own style of vaping

all i do is rebuild the occ coils as i did a 5pk when i started and still got a new 5pk that i am just keeping for whenever

most of those who didnt get on with it i dont think gave it enough time to dial it in

its probably the top selling tank to date and some just expected to much from it

there is also the fact that everyones needs are slightly different

its a great starter for some and a keeper for others like i say i have 3 now because i realy like em

keep in mind, the subtank has old school rda version (have to change out chimney/ top as well as put rda deck in - and lose a good bit of capacity), subtank plus uses same rda as subtank mini (and can use the new stm rda+ with improved wicking)... subtank plus also has dual airflow holes as opposed to single on original subtank... have both, vastly prefer subtank plus
