For those that have both, do you think they perform the same?

Ive really liked the Subtank and kind of assumed from all the love for the mini that they performed the same, but now that I have both and alternate I am really finding the vape from the mini to be alot more air restricted, have a bit less flavor, and not give as warm and plush clouds even at higher wattages...and the wattage range things can be vaped in it best, even with the newer heads, seems to be smaller than with the Subtank Plus.

Thoughts?

I originally bought my subtank plus for two reasons: it holds 7ml and I hate buying coils. It makes me mad that shops sell $2.00 coils for $4.50. After using it for a while, I discovered how great it really is compared to the rest of the market. It's the easiest rba to build on. I guess this could be argued but I don't care. My grandmother could build on this. I don't have to stop twice a day and fill it as I have more pressing concerns than if I'm going to run out of liquid before I get home. My final pro is that I don't have to spin it around and get the light to shine in just right so that I can see how much juice is in the tank *Delta 2. If I changed juices more often then the Mini would be a better choice however the Plus is perfect for me.

Strange I had read on here that the mini had better flavour than the plus, if the plus is actually as good if not better, i would have liked the 7ml capacity too. It uses the same coils and rba setup as the other subtanks right?

Been trying to switch to my kayfuns completely but darn the subtank can just be so much less fuss some days lol

Yeah I love the capacity. I mean the mini gets me through the day no prob if I feel like something new but I do have to refill every morning. The subtank I fill every three or four days with an adv and it's good.

The only real complaint I have about the subtanks is even the new heads aren't great with 100%pg, which isn't a big deal I mostly vape 50/50, and that it doesn't do over 30 or so watts very well with most juices. But the subtask plus is pretty much perfect otherwise.

I like mine so much that I'm considering getting a second for a backup. I have lots of other tanks and 20+ rdas. I use the rba and wick very loose so I draw a little more juice than most. I'm also prone to taking 10 second hits and don't like dry cotton. I don't like really warm vapor either but it's just part of the deal. I run at 20-30 watts normally and it's great vapor for a daily. I cloud chase at home on weekends. lol

Using the Nano for months, I hate it really. The airflow is horribly restrictive and with the few tines I've got to try the Big Boy, I can say the flavor seems like crap on the Nano.

The Mini also has insulator problems galore. I'd get the big Plus if I were you. Or the new black/white Mini might be worth checking out, it's supposed to have a lot more airflow too.

I do not have a subtank plus, but this thread does have my interest as I'm thinking of getting one.

As far as "sub" tanks go, for what it's worth, I love the mini.

I've not had any problems with the 3 tanks in rotation, each with a different flavor, and filling them isn't as often as just one tank in use.

I'm running them at 24 watts on the 1.2 and .5 ohm coils, and the flavor and vapor is just where I like it........for now.

I've tried the RBA on .5 at 50 watts. The flavor was good and the cloud was huge, but I immediately noticed that I'd darn near be drinking the juice. I also did not care for the hotter vape.

I've not had any issues with the insulators on any of mine.

YMMV since this seems more subjective based on the individual.

I have the black and white mini. The airflow's not horrible, its just not as perfect as the Plus.
