Hey everyone! So I've used subtanks before and they've never been to my satisfaction. Ever since I got my hands on my first rda I've never went back to a sub ohm tank. I love the idea of tanks for convenience purposes (like avoiding dripping and driving) but I don't want to spend money on a tank just to be less than satisfied with it. I want something that capes like an rda with no worries of dry hits and something that takes advantage of my 200 watt mod. I've seen new yanks coming out with ceramic coils but I have no experience with those so who knows. Anyways, I guess I'd just like to know if any of you have any ideas on a tank that would suit my needs. Thanks!

Well not many of them are going to need 200w and there isn't much need to go that high in my opinion.

Best flavor closet to an RDA after trying 20 plus tanks...Herakles Plus 0.4ohm coil at 75w

Every tank will dry hit if not primed correctly or vaped at too higher wattage or the tank is left to run empty.

Others to consider

Crown tank
TFV4
Super tank by Tobeco

Really though, I find the HP to beat them all.

That's the one that's been getting my attention most! And I know I'm not gonna use 200 watts on a tank, I just mean no 30 watts. 75 watts for a tank would be awesome in my opinion.

I will say this owning over fifteen different subohm tanks. I refused to buy Smok because everything they put out in the past was junk. Last Thursday I got a used Smok TFV4 from trading Post on another forum. Been vaping it since last Thursday and it has never leaked a drop. The tank is heavy and very well built. Top fill is the best top fill tank I own. I have not used the premade coils it came with, I only been using the RCA's, single coil and duel coils. I prefer the single coil. You go through juice like there is no tomorrow. I believe the TFV4 is a complete game changer in tanks. All I can say is WHAT A TANK!. CHEERS!

And that's the second tank I've been looking at. From the reviews on YouTube it seems to be like a cloud chasing addy. What wattage do you vape those coils at and will you be trying the quad coils?

I vape 42 watts on the single coil RCA set at .7 ohms. Just using the pre wound coils that came with the RCA. Same watts I vape most of my sub ohm tanks at 42 watts. Have no intentions of using the stock coils at this point. I certainly see no need for me to buy the stock coils as they are expensive but it is my understanding they have a good life span. As for a cloud chasing tank, that is the user that wants to chase clouds as they do with any tank. I will say this, the person whom sold me the tank did not like it because of a lose draw. To much air for him but I am a strait lung hitter now and I find it perfect.

I also find the Atlantis 2 tank is good as well. I rebuild all my own stock coils and they are better than new. My Atlantis 2 also has never leaked a drop of juice in over two months of use. I hate a leaking tank.

The quad I find has the most flavor but the tank is so OTT and can't compete flavor wise to the HP, I have vaped them side by side and there is a big difference, it can also produce just as much vapor if that's your thing..

The only disadvantage would be no RBA Deck for the HP but those 0.4 coils more than make up for that and last 3 - 4 weeks.

EDIT - I don't want to come across as though Im bashing the TFV4, I was one of the first to get one and spent many hours in the TFV4 thread and vaped in non stop for months and months, it is worth considering for sure but I just get a more cleaner flavor from the HP, nothing I have tried has matched it yet.....closest tank to my Velocity mini and Sapor RDA.

Thanks for the update. And yeah that's what I like! My velocity Rda has a lot of airflow and that's one thing tanks lacked for me.

The vapor production isnt a concern as most modern tanks produce plenty. And how does the air flow compare?

Another thing I seen was the new aspire clieto that just came out. That seems to be a tank that may suit my needs. Anyone had any experience with it even tho it's so new?
Very good tank from what I here but I've not tried it so can't comment, you could ask in the womper thread, I know some of them have that tank..

With the top airflow closed on both the HP and TFV4 and the bottom wide open they are pretty much the same. The HP will have better airflow and flavor with them both open as the top airflow on the HP goes down to the coil and back up, it's not perfect and I prefer it closed but it doesn't muted the flavor as much as the TFV4 due to the design.

I also have a Black and a Silver Hercules tanks. I find the stock coils are not the greatest. The TC coils leak in about two days and pop and spit. Once rebuilt they are much better. I usually run Atlantis rebuilt coils in my Hercules. No complains about them as they are a cheaper tank.

Aspire Clieto I looked at but the coils look goofy. I will wait till my local vape shop gives me some used coils to try to rebuild before I even concider that tank.

Agreed but you cannot compare the two, the new coils are totally different and wont even fit in the original Herakles tank....much improved.

As for the Atlantis coils I like them, I find the 0.3ohm Atlantis coil in a Super tank or Super tank mini to be very good for flavor, that Super tank mini with that coil has the most airflow I have had from any bottom afc tank.

Had to go look up a Super Tank. Super Tank by Tobeco looks just like the Isub Apex which is good for a cheap tank. Do like the Isub's as changing the cotton is super easy and just keep using the stock coils over and over.

Decided to try out the new Clieto tank. Picked it up for a very reasonable price. I like adventuring. Supposed to be no leaking and tons of air flow. Might as well give it a whirl.
Cool. Hope you enjoy it. I hate adventure. I let others do the adventuring then I listen for the reports. LOL CHEERS!

Haha I guess it's not so much of an adventure since I just did research and pretty much know what to expect but I think it should be what I'm looking for. If not I'll try out the herakles plus
