I am a happy vaper! My first sample is great! YAY!

Of course it is only one flavor but I am thrilled none the less. I think I could fill a notebook with all the notes I have taken from here and just want to thank all of you that put it out here for us beginners. I bought my flavors after reading "the best of" thread along with taking down all the percentages used. You guys and gals have made it easy for me and it is much appreciated.

I started with a favorite and it tastes like the real thing to me. I have flavors that I have yet to vape and look forward to trying them. This is going to be a great weekend, Christmas came early! :vapor:

Oh sorry! I am an newbie so nothing fancy. I have 2 now that are good. The first was banana nut bread. I love this stuff! I have found with premade juices it varies by vendor so I didn't know if I got the right one or not. I did! I just made vanilla cupcake and it is smelling real good too but haven't tried it yet. I think irish cream will be next...

This is SO much better than trying to find a premade juice I like!

I'm with you 100%. Recently I ordered a key lime pie flavor and was disappointed to discover it pretty much only has the crust flavor and no lime flavor to it. If I were to have made it, I would certainly have balanced the flavor so that the lime was the dominant flavor in the mix. It's really a gamble trying different vendor juices but it's fun too. You don't really know what you get until you get it and often it doesn't live up to the description that was posted about it, but sometimes it's even better than you hoped for.

I got lucky and read a LOT! The top sticky thread is a must read. It names the best flavors by vendor and I used that as my guide.

Congrats Ld3441,

You sound like your well on your way to DIY Nirvana. I agree it's so much more satisfying to sample your own creation, plus you have total control to contour the flavor to your own taste. Vanilla cupcake also plays nice with other flavors. I mixed some with Cinnamon Roll and a little Caramel for a tasty Cinnamon Vanilla Caramel Roll - Congrats again!! :toast:

Cheers,
Steve

Just give me a few days, I will start mixing more than one flavor soon! That may be when you see my whining post asking what I can do to fix it! LOL I still have lots to buy yet getting everything set up to suit me and then of course more flavors. Dang, I wish work didn't get in the way of my playtime!

Tomorrow I am going to mix up some black honey tobacco but I know I will have to let that steep. I wanted to start with something I could enjoy first.

Congrats! There's nothing like the sweet success of a victorious and yummy DIY juice! One of the first flavors I started with was vanilla cupcake, and I'm waiting on more that's in transit now. I like to mix that with all kinds of things! I also have some banana nut bread that I'm vaping right now. I mixed it with a little butter and brown sugar and man is it delish!!!

Congratulations and have fun with it. And as far as whining post there's always help here so whine all you want too:). The most important thing is don't let fustration get the best of you. Put it off to the side, go on to something else and go back to it later.

Thanks Danny!

I am beyond thrilled this morning. I made 7 sample bottles yesterday. 2 need to steep but I think they will be ok. 1 I have not tried yet and 4 are good. In one day I have more good juice than I have had in 3 months! Of course a lot of credit goes to all the help I have gotten here and I just can't tell you how much I appreciate all of you. You are all awesome in my book and I hope someday I will be able to help others (when you guys are too busy of course ;)) Keep up the good work and I will keep reading. Thanks to you all! :vapor:

The ones you haven't tried yet I would try before any prolong steeping. It will give you a baseline to compare the change to.
