Well, just finished getting my Plume Veil all channeled out, put her back together and tested with a bit of juice, flows and drains awesome! I have a bit too much wick right now but I just chucked some rayon in until I go to the mall and I'm going to try some Japanese Cotton pads, 1/16" coils are a pain in the backside with rayon. However, my Reo (Which was a PIF from an amazing Reonaut on here who wishes to remain forever anonymous, and will) is up and running. I think I hear the faint weeping of my other mods as they sit in my little vape toolbox.

I think it looks pretty sexy with the black PlumeVeil and Black Wrinkle LP Grand :)

So nowhere in Edmonton had any KGD in stock anymore (Apparently Sephora sold out at Christmas) but London Drugs had Shiseido Japanese Cotton Pads for $11, about the same size as the KGD package, and from what I've been reading, they're almost, if not completely identical. Wicked my Reo up basically exactly the same as Russ does and I gotta say this is way more convenient than rayon, a quick scissor snip, and boom, you're wicking. Love the stuff.

Anyone in the Edmonton area need about 490 feet of Rayon? LOL

Hey, Neo, PM me if you want some genuine KGD. Happy to hook a CDN brother up.

Thanks for the offer man :) From what I've read through a few dozen pages of this and other forums, Shiseido is pretty much identical, just fewer seeds. I'm playing with Rayon again tonight, comparing a little bit - it seems that this run I did the cellucotton is doing better than the Japanese. I'm fairly certain I got a half decent Shiseido wick but not as good as I can do rayon. Then again I have enough of both I can change my wicks daily for a couple of years LMAO. May go back to cotton tomorrow and try a few more, I'm using a 1/16" coil but the same sized cuts as Russ does, doesn't seem to wick as well for me, I think I just need some practice with this new coil size and to find my happy place.

wow.. 1/16... thats itty bitty.. I usually go 7/64 with 28 ga - anything under 3/32 seems to burn up the wick in the micro coil by the time I go to change the cotton (every few days).

I have heard people prefer rayon over JC - JC wick more quickly according to pbusardo here. His test shows natural wicking ability, not how it wicks under intense heat like a micro coil.

7/64? Holy cow my 3/32 coils seemed gigantic before I got my Reo! I've really enjoyed using my coil Gizmo and haven't bothered finding stock for other sizes so I've been using the 1/16" that came with it for tensioned micro coils, LOVING IT. I may explore a few other sizes too, I'm not sure yet, so far enjoying this current build. Sure don't fix what ain't broke...but I love to tinker LOL

just posted this in Reo Lounge
parallel 28ga on 7/64 - new build for me on this rdas (K6 - cyclone clone) - single coil wasn't wide enough at 1.4ohms, so I doubled up - this one is at .8ohms, next time I'll go a bit higher - shooting for 1.2ish for better battery life, but still like the coil response time with 28a.

Not going to lie that looks awesome. I don't think my attention span would let me count that many wraps though and counting a parallel build when you lose count....I remember how much of a pain that was LOL.

np, brother. Always here if you need.

I find 1/16" 28 or 29 gauge duals work great with JC - I run them in 4 or 5 different atties, singles or duals. Heckuva good vape.

I wrap fast :) took me 5 min to tear out old build, wrap new one, mount new one, wick and juice :)
