I bought a bottom load Kanger Mini Protank, I get home to fill it up and its sucking e liquid through. I had a cheaper tank previously with the same bottom loading style and it did the same thing. I am tired of this happening. I tried to google my problem but could not find my specific tank. All the help videos i found were for the Mini Protank ll which has a removable head/tip but mine doesn't. If anyone has any advice please tell me. Thank you.

Are you seeing liquid in the tank?
Do not put liquid down the center tube; the center tube if for airflow.

I just purchased 2 Kanger mini protanks (mini protank III, 1.5 ohm) and am very disappointed. There are little holes at the base of the tank where it connects to the battery and they suck air in so all you get is air, hardly any vape. Is this common or am I missing something? Definitely not what I had in mind when I puchased them!

is it kangar? or a clone?
my protank II is awesome........ I can make it leak when I want, and not when I don't want, I can adjust how tight the draw is, or how airy...
....a buddy of mine is having issues with his protank III........ leaking and stuff.......
sorry if it's kangar.... they're usually pretty good
...maybe add some wick to your coil?

Sounds like something is either loose or you are missing a seal. The card that came with it has a break down. Are you sure you did not loosen the tank glass retainers when you removed the coil base while filling? Is the coil itself tightened snug to the base. Check it out and report back.......Good Luck!

(they are great little tanks when working right. Don't get discouraged and if you are still having problems, your local vapory is your friend)

I don't own a MPT3, but if you're new to clearomizers you need to understand that you don't suck on it like you might a real cigarette. Your intake needs to softer and slower. Think in terms of a 5-6 second draw rather than a 1-2 second hard pull like you might on a cigarette. I don't have any such problems with any of my MPT2s; to me the draw is just right and definitely tighter than an eVod for example.

If you're not getting ANY vapor, that may be an indication of a different problem - one of the most common being the positive post not making a good connection with the positive post on the battery.

Cut a tiny piece of any kind of decent tape - I used basic black electrical tape - and put it over one of the holes. This will give a 'tighter' draw... less air.

I think you mean it's gurgling? It's a common problem with bottom coil clearos caused by condensation and solved by a change in draw style. When you take a pull let off the button a little before you finish the draw to clear the vapor out of the tube so it doesn't condense and flood the coil. If it does start to gurgle and you are outside give it a quick snap of the wrist to clear it, if inside take the clearo off blow it out into a paper towel.

I have several of the Kanger ts3
2 of them were missing 1 of 2 O rings on the coil head.
If you do not see 2 white rubber rings there, that would be the problem.
You can buy them at home depot, if you can find someone there that knows
what is where in the plumbing dept. Or even better if you have a paintball store
near by they will be able to get you the right size in a min flat.

Hope this helps

I looked inside and if I'm looking in the right area, there is no seal. Here's a couple pics.

Remove the bottom ring(where the coil is) as if you were going to fill it (with the bottom pointing up of coarse) and give the two ends of the tank a gentle twist to see if the tank is loose. The seals are at each end of the glass.

Reinstall the coil and holder back on the tank and blow through the device into a paper towel. Any Liquid in the towel?

I have the Mini PT 2, Evod, Evod 2 (Glass), and Aerotanks. The Aerotanks, and Evod 2's blow the Mini Protank's out of the water!!! While I like the way the Mini PT2 feels better, and I like a different look at times, I even feel like my Evod's work better then the PT2's! Idk though, Kanger makes excellent tanks, and aside from cartotanks or more advanced RBA/RDA's, they make the BEST "cheap" tank imho, I have still found in my personal experience the Mini PT's to be hit or miss, leaking on me more than the Evods. I THINK, one of the reason's could be my juices, but beings as it uses the same coil as the Evod's that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It could be the coils themself, as I'm aware one could get a "bad" coil here and there, or they could even be fakes for all I know. Idk, aside for the way it looks, and the drip tips on my Mini PT's, I prefer the Evod's performance better, especially the Evod 2 (glass).

Now the aerotanks, they blow them ALL over the water if you don't mind a better tank! Aside from changing my coils out when they get burnt up, usually every few days for my juices and vaping style, it's fill it and forget it! I've NEVER had them leak and you can adjust the airflow on the base to suit your style! If you're not going to go more advanced, I'd recommend them wholeheartedly! You can pick them up for around $17 of Ebay, as part of a kit with two extra coils. That's what I did anyways.....

I also wanted to add that you replace the mini's base with the aerobase, then YOU can customize your airflow without having to add tape or broken off toothpicks. If you don't mind doing that by ALL means, go right ahead, I guess I'm just particular about that kind of thing.... :)
