I received some DIYFlavorshack.com sugar cream flavoring today. Has anyone else used this one? Its very dark in color ( I was expecting it might be light)and I smell caramel and something I can't decipher yet. It smells really nice and I am getting ready to try it straight up. Any opinions on this one?

Ok I made a 3 ml base of it in pg. Its strong I probably used too much at 20 percent. Its got a kick to it at this percentage...lol Its definately not just caramel- its a creamy caramel taste with a bite that may be a slight spice element or may be the percentage I used- not sure. Like spiced or burnt caramel at this ratio on its own. This is not a one note flavor--I think there are three notes here. Thats all for now. Would appreciate any one else's input. I think this could be a really good flavor. It smells rich and its a very dark brown flavoring.

Ok I'm picking up a buttery sweet taste now- I got it---its like kettle corn if that makes any sense with a little kick. I detect no milky or whipped cream note so far.

I think I was using it too high of a percentage for me personally in the test sample. I'd like to add to anyone reading this its the darkest flavor I have yet used- like black. Its very good though, just throwing that out there, that if you imagine sugar cream to be a light clear flavoring this sugar cream is not.

When I put too much in my carto you know how it can drip out the bottom? It literally stained my drip cup and the threaded end of my silver 510 to a pretty copper color....lmao You know I asked around before and I never could get an answer about the best ones to try. I'd say just pick the flavors you use most now or in the same range. Or get her sweetener.

I saw she recomended the max on sugar cream by itself at 9% . Its also very buttery of a caramel . Its great stuff . I use it as a sweetener though as she also recomended . So darkness is not a issue . Most of her flavors are almost black out of the ones iv tried . Poundcake is very daark , Holy Vanilla is black , toffee is dark . Cinnamon is crystal clear and super concentrated . I cant go above 3% on that one . DOnut i havent tried yet but its crystal clear . Its smells like alchol with lemons though .I read her expert PB is awesome and more concentrated then any other PB

I was just going to say this, tinybells, with the sugar cream I was way overdoing it. You need very little-- certainly less than 20 percent.....lol Thanks for the info. I like knowing more about the best strength and that will help anyone looking into this to know they are generally stronger flavorings.

Be sure to do a review when you try it, with the proper complete company name title--- unlike I did on this one....lol

i looked at the kit i won..i get one flavoring so it will be easy to decide...Peanut Butter..lol

Make sure its expert PB . Where did you get the super old black bottles of capellas . I want one lol . No wonder why you taste the coconut and almond a lot more than me . That flavor has been steeping for a long time .

Im sure you will like the diyfs PB better than TPA . Tpa PB is not great . I only use it as a mixer with my creamy capellas PB . TPA's is a bit dry and nutty .

Thats what throws me off and why i was asking about percentages . SOme of hers are overly strong while others are overly weak . The sugar cookie i tested three time and dont know what percentage to use still . Iv never had that issue before . Its just super weak but it is good tasting . It tastes exactly the same from 2.5% all the way to 40% . After 40% i did get some left over taste in my mouth so im sure thats way too much .I just cant find a sweetspot though . Its a shame because its so good but it will get overpowered by anything .

I think everybody is shy to post reviews except for us :p but gosh I wish there were more reviews before I ordered some of my stuff. Not this flavoring in particular, but some other ones. I wasted so much money on flavorings I did not like.

Thats the hard thing I think, people all think this so subjective they don't want to post reviews of flavors unless they are positive. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it could be part of the reason there aren't more reviews.

I understand subjectivity but even with that you can usually get a idea on whats good or just plain out bad . I give reviews because many have told me that my taste is usually spot on . A had a few people even tell me i should be a taste tester . I never seem to go through those periods of lost or off taste that some experience .Most flavorings i seem to like if using them the right way so when i say a flavor is bad its usually really bad .Not trying to brag but thats what others have told me . If i sell a flavor i using give them a description on taste and usually get a PM back saying wow its just like you said . I can usually tell a flavor even when blind folded ,yes iv tried it lol . My mother on the other hand cant tell watermelon from chocolate . lol .

SHilo if your looking for good flavors go get some Capellas . They dont make any bad ones except for rootbeer .

They are next and I allready have a list prepared. I'm so fussy about flavors that I like to gather as many opinions on flavors as possible first now. Like you, I went all out in the beginning and ended up only liking a small handful. Lucky for me, my husband is not a fussarella like me and will vape almost anything.

The smell has a great deal to do with taste or like/dislike of a a flavor for me.
