Have an Evic mini on the way but thinking about giving it to the gf instead. Considering an IPV D2 but chipping paint makes me rethink. Currently have a smok m80 but I want replaceable batteries for a smaller mod. 50ish+ watts. TC would be nice but I only use vw right now. I'll use HE2's what you think?

If you can find one, a Sigelli vmax mini does both VV/VW and takes a single 18350. Nice little low power (< 15w) mod. However the battery life even with such low wattage sucks. Don't expect it to last more than a few hours.

    dicodes dani extreme v2+ small

It's a tube, but nicest 18350 I have ever seen, at only 74mm also smallest.....40W TC takes all wire types, you can customise about everything...excellent craftsmanship...also a bit expensive (about $250) and very hard to get in US

And if you are just lookig for small...take a look at the Xvostick by mini-ecig..takes a 18650, but very small

...also bit expensive..but there is also a clone out there

I don't understand why you're going down when you have all that you need... The SMOK M80 is an awesome box mod that isn't very big at all and it's rechargeable so you don't have to deal with in and out of batteries at the same time.. Someone I know just got the Evic VTC mini and I think it's awesome.. super small.. can go up to 60 watts.. and they layout plus quality build of it is amazing. Other then that I'd go with the IPVD2 like you said.. probably that or the Evic are the two best options in that category but the m80 blows them away.

I got an m50 and its got nothing on my evic mini, even with TC set aside. Quality sucks on the former M series mods.
The evic is better in any way or shape.
Not sure about the m80 though only seen the 45 50 &60 I think. (So many in the m range :) )

I dropped my IPV D2 yesterday from off of my lap onto the street getting out of my truck... didn't have the silicone sleeve on as I had just changed the battery. My herakles tank and the device survived without any paint chipping, I've had the D2 for a few months now and haven't had an issue with the paint. It's a great device that's very small, good battery life (unless your running it balls to the wall), and lots of power for a single battery device.

I say keep the Evic mini and give your GF an old ego pen...she'll never know ;)

I've had mine for a few days and this thing is really killer. It's basically what I've always wanted- a higher end istick. Simple, better battery life (using LG HG2) and just plain sexy to hold. If it was just a bit cheaper, I'd buy a few more.

Haha I gave her an old old clearo but it didn't last. I found the minis for $30 right now at efun if that's on the budget.. just have to wait a year... hope it's ok to post sources lol

I have been on this search for some time because I've been trying to get my wife into replaceable batteries, but she has an aversion to large heavy devices. Tired of throwing away fat egos and isticks when they wear out. It seems to me that every mini, nano, etc. 18650 mod is basically the same size (roughly 3 1/4" X 1.5 " X 22mm). That's what it takes to fit an 18650. I just ordered her an evic mini and hoping that will work. If not, I'll certainly use it.

the Smok m-80 is an amazing device. I own that, several MVP 3.0 pros, and recently got 2 innokin disrupters with three battery cells. I don't understand the fascination with removing batteries and putting them in a charger. Not with devices like the smok m80 and MVP 60 watt around. I have the istick 100 watt ( dual 1860s that can be charged in the box ) and the IVP4 with the 9volt charging cable.

I do own two of the evic minis... saving them until December for Christmas gifts. As far as I am concerned its as good an 18650 mod as any other. I preferred it to the subox mini.

For me I feel replaceable batteries will be convenient because of how much I chain vape. Don't get me wrong I really like my m80 (using right now) and is a great device (not in TC mode though because it doesn't work) but once it's dead, it's dead. Holding 2 16850's in a plastic case is smaller and lighter than a spare too. If I always stayed over 1 ohm I wouldn't need another but lower kills it pretty fast. Went to a few B&M today and I'm somewhat satisfied with my evic mini purchase but the d2 is more compact/"stealthy". Thanks for the suggestions guys I'm not into just blowing money so needed to see what's around.
