I'm curious if there is a suggested voltage/wattage for these juices, i have been having some difficulty with getting a good flavor hit since changing from a cv device to a vv. ive tried different tanks/attys/voltages and i either get burnt flavor or not much flavor at all. i love the halo juices but lately im burning more than i enjoy.

Although I think vv is fine and all, there is a down side: Its one of those "fiddle-things"...you start trying to analyze each puff at each voltage, and it all sort of gets lost in the mix.

Keep in mind while your vaping, the temperature of the ejuice and its consistency as well, changes throughout your vape session so that even keeping one set voltage will not result in an absolutely uniform experience.

I will pick up a Triton twist or two when available, but I still expect to do the majority of my vaping with the regular Triton batt. Besides, strictly from a convenience point of view, I really like the size of the 650man batteries.

I can only answer for the menthols. Truepure (which is a mute point now???) is best at 3.7; above that I get the burnt taste. Also I think Mystic & Coolmist are better at 3.7, but mystic is okay at 5v. Menthol Ice is great at 5v, and the last few days, I have been vaping Malibu at 5v. I don't have a vv, and so I only vape at 3.7 or 5v.

Also keep in mind that when you speak about which voltage is best you have to figure that in with what resistance your coil or cartomizer is. Generally, the Triton tanks with the standard 2.2 to 2.4 ohms anything much over 4.0 volts will either burn, or be on the edge of it. That's why a freshly charged Triton batt at 4.2v can often give you a few burnt hits until it eases down a notch.

In general however, it appears that many tobacco vapes can stand a bit more voltage while some desert-type vapes can be quickly over-cooked.

Tribeca for example tastes a bit muted to me in a standard G6 cartomizer, much better in the Triton tank, but also pretty darn good with the Low Resistance G6 cartomizers.

I would use a vv twist to compensate for the clearomizer/cartomizer resistance up or down, as much as in reference to a given ejuice flavor.

I use 2.8 - 3.2 ohm clearos.

Torque 56 - 4.0 - 4.3 volts. At the upper end, I get more of the "ashy" tobacco flavor. At lower, the mint flavor stands out.

Tribeca - 3.8 - 4.1 volts.

Turkish - 3.9 - 4.1 volts.

Menthols / mints - 3.7 - 4.0.

Longhorn - 3.8 - 4.0 volts.

Yep, I think that the higher resistance coils for the Triton tank probably work best with a slightly higher voltage, keeping in mind that the standard Triton batteries start out around 4.2 volts but quickly settle down into the 4.0 to 3.7 range, and eventually decrease below that rate. I like the 2.2 - 2.4 ohm coils with the regular batts, as it provides enough "pop" to carry on throughout the battery cycle...in fact sometimes a freshly charged battery is almos a bit "hot" for the first few puffs. I would view the 2.8 to 3.0 ohm coils as ideal for the vv twist.

(Voltage Squared) /divided by Ω's = Watts

My findings over the years..
Torque56 <6.5 Watts, above that and the delicious rustic flavor diminishes, begins to taste like grass.
Tribeca 6-8.5Watts, below 6 lacks full flavor, near 8.5-9watts is sweeter, above 9Watts losses flavor.
Freedom Juice 5-7Watts, a touch above 6Watts and I like the sweet smoky roasted Marshmallow flavor!

I find it interesting that for me, Torque56 tastes best @ 5.6Watts! LoL
