The problem with recessed tanks or cartos or whatever is if there's a leak to the connector. Your connector is recessed. That means a PITA to clean. You have to consider the elements involved in vaping and the proximity of A) Liquid B) Airflow C) Electronics. It is very difficult to balance all these things. We all deal with leaks of some kind at some point. Personally, it would be very disappointing to put forth a lot of effort to design a mod and have it fail. I know first-hand, because some of my build have just not cut the muster. It's a great feeling when everything comes together successfully. I hope you can do it. I'd suggest investigating some bottomfeeder builds and adapt your design in that direction. 6ml bottles can easily be attached to unsealed connectors, then all you need is a switch, atty and batt. Good luck and keep us posted.

There are many bottomfeeders out there....

find a squeeze bottle with a syringe tip, and an unsealed 510 connector, and build the box around that...

you can solder the syringe portion directly to the 510 connector, with enough room for a wire lead.

Study the designs of the Vapeage and the Reo mods, to give you a rough idea for layout.

if you recess the carto, just make sure the well is wide enough so you can comfortable clean it.
