Think I got the right section of the forum.

I'm a tradesman, and I frequently am working at construction sites, renovation sites, etc.

I currently have an ego w/ kanger tank, which is my favorite for the moment.

Unfortuantely, it's just too darned big to haul around, plus the possibility of busting it at some point. I thought of keeping it in my tool bag, but that's in constant use, and I don't want to have to go to the truck, get the ego, have a smoke break with the rest of the guys, put it back, etc. Just want something I can grab and go.

I've been considering an eroll, since it's tiny and has what looks like a decent PCC to store it in while not in use.

Anyone else in a similar situation, or have any suggestions?

Yep I had the same problem on jobsites. I was using an eroll - they're small and hit great. My only problem was juice capacity. They're tiny and you either have to carry juice and refill or carry a bunch of tanks (I can drain the half mil tank pretty fast). Lately I've been using a 650 mah Evod. The concealed button is pocket friendly - I know you can do the 5 click off on thing but I'd usually forget and trip egos constantly. They have a sturdy tank and can take a drop and hold about 2mils and are slightly shorter than an ego. They fit in my shirt pocket or tool pouch no problem.
Hope this helps.

You could try a lanyard and put it under your shirt while working so its not flopping around...out of the way and easily accessible. Just a thought.

I'm in the oil field and have the same problem! I never thought of the lanyard.... That's a great idea! I can't carry any electronic devices on me, but if I could I'd probably go this route!

I don't think a lanyard would be allowed on a construction site—easy for it to get caught in machinery. Some people have modified cheap flashlight holsters for their PVs which might work.

I've got a simple, small set up I like to use when I'm out and about: an eGo twist 900 mah and a Smok Dual Coil Mega Cartomizer (holds up to 5ml juice). It fits right in my pocket, and I can rock it all day. These cartos are about $3 a piece, so if it would get dinged up on the site, no worries. The only thing I don't like about this carto is the mouth piece has a gross taste to it, but I found a better drip tip for it from VaporBeast.

Good luck and vape on!

Maybe a Reo or a bottom feeder? E-liquid is self contained and it's impossible to break. You can safely put it in your pocket. You didn't mention price, but it's not cheap. You can get a blemished for $115, plus batteries and charger if you don't have them. They aren't real big. They have gotten run over and someones horse stepped on theirs.

Check the reo subforum for info.

All my cheap cigalikes ate it on job sites. Its more expensive, but the solution I came to was a REO Grand. I don't use it at home, (prefer genesis atomizers) but its practically indestructible while I'm out or working.

Didn't see this when I posted! LOL

I have used eroll and ecab on job sites. I prefer the ecab because of the tank size. I have dropped it from 8' onto plywood sub floor and it still works. Battery should last you all day. The size is 3/8" x 5" so its not small, but it does side easily into your back pocket. Replacement batteries are $5 and battery tubes are about $15.

The eroll has something going for it, hand free. You can actually hold it in your mouth and smoke with no hands. The pcc charge will last you all day. You will have to change out tanks more often because of the small size. Parts are cheap, battery sticks are around $10.

Both use the same atomizer and generally you get a week before they need to be clean or replaced. Atomizers run about $5.

I think either would work very well for you.

I'm a landscaper and my work is very physical. I have taken to carrying a ego shorty with a 1.4 ml cart. I have two, one in the pocket, back up in the truck. Gets me through the day. See my avatar.

That looks like what I was going to suggest (an ego mini). Can still use your same tanks, etc., just the battery part is smaller.

A lanyard might work. Or fashioning some type of holster for your belt.
