Suggestions for ejuice flavors for a newb

I have been researching and lurking and researching and more. I just cant get a grip on where to begin with some juice flavor that just works for me. My wife who has quit also was a menthol smoker and is fine with just the generic menthol from totally-wicked. I just cant seem to find a great flavor myself. I know this will be a process as my taste buds heal but can anyone recommend a good starting vendor and suggest some flavors. I tried the johnson creek red oak sampler and was not impressed. However take into consideration that I have not purchased a mod and am using a ego-t on a standard 950mah battery. I know no one can make the call for me but perhaps some tales of some of the more seasoned vets on how they came to a consensus on a good flavor will push me in the right direction. I used to smoke parliament lights. anyway ....

I'm probably not a good candidate to answer about flavors because I like the majority of what I buy. As for an all-dayer, nope, don't have one...at least not something I can vape continuously.

When I first started, I stumbled up freedomsmokeusa.com's website. The have tons of good flavors. They also have them in 3ml samplers. Shipping is $5 no matter how big or small your order is.

Another one I discovered recently, and really enjoy all of their flavors (exception is plain strawberry but it's not the vendor...I just can't taste strawberry unless mixed with another flavor) is topshelfvapes.com. Jersey Pink Drink, StrawMint, Razzle, and Chocolate cheesecake are just a few (and I mean very few...my list is huge), that I have really enjoyed.

avejuice.com and sweet-vapes.com are another 2 great vendors with some tasty juices. SV has a starbuckets line of coffee's that will make your toes curl.

If you're looking for 100% VG, I highly recommend stopping by virginvapor.com. Annette makes a fantastic all VG juice.

As for my favorite tobacco, I love Dekang's DK-Tab. I used it when I first quit smoking. Still to this day, I have to have at least an hour session with it each day.

I could keep going but I doubt there's enough server space. Always keep in mind that taste is subjective...what I like, you may not. Do as much looking around and order from several different vendors until you find one that sells a handful that you like. The worst part about vaping is the expense when it comes to finding good juices but in the end, it will be worth it.

I ordered some of that for my Mom. I don't have high hopes because she doesn't like anything but BWB Casablanca and they're out of Casablanca.

The funniest thing about that list is even though CC won, it only got 30 votes or so. Did you check out the list? There must be a couple hundred juices that got one vote! It's crazy how many juices there are out there and what a huge variety that people like.

Also, I'm just going to add, since tons of new people don't know this, buy in small amounts the first time, or try sample packs. If you don't like it, let it sit, or steep for a few days, a week or so, and let the flavor reach it's full potential. Most places mix them as they're ordered, so it takes time for the flavors to meld together. That said, some are delicious straight out of the mailbox!

If you find some that you just don't like, check out the PIF or Pay It Forward, or swap/sell forums. You can sell, trade, or gift your unwanted juice to another member in exchange for other juice. Don't toss it, others may love that flavor!

When I first started vaping last year Hypnotic Mist was all the rage. I totally recommend it to most beginning vapers who want something sweet yet not candy tasting. It's definitely sweet and I think it's definitely worth a try. I have bought it from freedomsmokeusa and vapor bomb and it is a very consistant juice from company to company, order to order.

If you want a straight up nasty cig taste the closest I have come to that is Pure Cig from freedomsmokeusa. While not an exact replica of a cigarette it gives the closest sensation to real smoking IMO. I have heard of a lot of people using this juice to come off of cigs. I like it every now and then when I am jonesing for a smoke. Also with freedomesmokeusa I think most of their tobacco flavors have the option of adding menthol flavoring to the juices at no extra charge. And they also have a decent pure menthol juice (forget what it's called) that you can add to juices or use it by itself. Definitely a sinus clearer though.

I'll chime in with my suggestion of anything by Alien Visions E-juice. I'm grateful to have found them early on in my quest for the perfect everyday vape. I've tried other vendors and sometimes they came through (Copper Creek springs to mind) but by and large, I found myself let down. My tastebuds change and I constantly find the need to swap out cartos, but I always seem to go back to AVE. Currently vaping C&D but Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice and Raf are always in the rotation.

I also recommend you check out menthol drops for your wife. I was on the hunt for the perfect menthol blend and found that simply adding a drop or two did the trick. Now any flavor I enjoy can be enhanced with menthol if I so choose

flavors are very user subjective i would buy alot of different types to try in sample packs if you can get it
also the classys here usually have discounted juice lots to try out
i would order from any vender here they on ecf they help support this forum

Definitely get a small bottle. It's definitely not tame. I think it's one you will either love or hate...so don't come after me if you hate it. lol. But you should always order small with any juice you get though.

I started off ordering from TastyVapor due to the good reviews on here, but then I was told that ElectroNicStix had a store up a couple of minutes away from where I live. Both are really good vendors, I just go with ElectroNicStix due to how close they are.

Never had a problem with their thickness here. I've used attys and cartos, single and dual coil. I find that I simply prefer to use cartos for whatever juice I vape and have never really been let down. AVE also has vg + pg blends but I can't do pg so it's all vg for me.
