Hello. I was contemplating using nicotine-free e-cigs. From the newbie guide, it seems that the KR808 is the way to go.

This will be an alternative to tobacco-free Shisha (Shisha aka Hookah in general is legal in USA/Canada). Is there a big difference with Shisha taste-wise? Is vaping healthier?

I'm not sure where to start as most of the advice here is for tobacco smokers. Am I right to think that e-cig smoking is basically smoking flavored water vapor? Are there any side-effects like the feeling of relaxation when you do Shisha?

P.S: I'm in Ontario so Canadian availability would be nice :toast:

The most recommended small ecigs (and anything smaller sucks)

Joye 510 MANUAL - and I recommend Boge 3 ohm cartomizers with it, plus a drip tip for testing juices on the atomizer and vaping thicker juices. In the cartos I put my favorite thin juices (I use PG w/ 20% VG or less and I avoid juices that drop flavoring sediment in the stuffing). There are few prefilled cartomizers for 510 but the most variety of black (though with a slim battery like this you need to stick to 2.5 to 3 ohm atomizers and cartos). You will be filling them.

SmokelessImage or Vapor4Life manual - the Shorty aka 65mm battery size are the small ones. try both vapor4Life and Bloogplanet/SmokelessImage cartos. Plenty of prefilled and blank cartos there and variety of blanks elsewhere. Stick to 2.5 to 3 ohm cartos. For testing juices on a manual use a standard resistance DSE901 atomizer and drip tip

And small means very short battery life of 180 to 220 mah or about 2 hours of moderate vaping

Sorry I didn't notice you were in Canada

I don't know your availability. Get your 5 non-spammed posts or replies in New Members and then an hour later you can post elsewhere like the Canada forum in the National Forums section of ECF. And buying & Selling has both Canada Classifieds and Canada vendor forum (not all vendors, just ones that post there)

Joye 510 manuals are most certainly available at one of your Canadian vendors. SmokelessImage or Bloogplanet might be selling in Canada. Ask in the Canada forum. No-nic juice is sold in Canada.

510 is a 3-piece and most use blank cartomizers on it instead of atomizer + cartridge

KR808D-1 is a 2-piece (battery + cartomizer) so at least in the US there are plenty of prefilled and blank cartomizers for it. I don't know about Canada but somebody in Canada just got a SmokelessImage Volt or Bloogplanet Maxxfusion. As I said above, if you get the manual you can use a DSE901 standard resistance atomizer and drip tip to test juices. Only put juices you know you like into cartos. cartos have limited lives.

Manual batteries make it easier to get a good drag (I won't say hit because with 0-nic you will not get throat hit other than whatever sensation the flavoring supplies). They are MUCH safer from being damaged or killed by juice leaks. And they won't turn on accidentally in wind or vibration.

Which cigs and cartridges have a lot of thick vapor?

If you're looking for flavor propylene glycol is the way to go... Vegetable glycerin dulls flavor but increases vapor. I haven't had much experience with it but I assume it's something you have to play with to find your happy medium
