Suggestions for upgrades?

I'm relatively new to vaping. I started in mid-October using it as a quitting tool for analog cigs. It has been going absolutely wonderfully and I enjoy vaping as much, if not more, than smoking. I ended up getting the Ego-T starter kit with two batteries and tanks and all of that jazz. They work very well. I clean my atomizers weekly and have separate tanks for each flavor and replace them periodically. However, I use VG exclusively since I have a PG allergy, so I notice that the atomizers tend to get dirty very quickly. Is there a better option out there than the Ego-T for exclusive VG vaping?

Thanks in advance!

First off, welcome!
I started with an ego style from VaporAll. I also use mostly 100%VG. I wasn't happy with that setup.
I went on a massive search. I was curious to see of any were made in the USA. That lead me to the ProVari. Vaping my ProVari right now with 100% VG from VCV in a IBTanked carto-tank and couldn't be happier with it!!

What is quickly and what kind of juice are vaping? Dark juices tend gunk you atomizers faster than clear ones.
The battery isn't going to make much difference on how fast you atomizers gunk up.
You can try putting some water, vodka or Everclear to thin your juice and lower the vaping temperature.
If you want the best battery, that would be a Provari. However there may be some other suggestions.
Now I going to go duck behind a big rock before the avalanche comes. Good luck.

It's a DIY mix and they tend to get pretty dark. I haven't yet tried to dilute the mix at all. Would you recommend distilled water, or will any water do?

I exclusively use a Reo and a Reomizer. I tend to use 100% VG juice, not because I want/need to, but I am just hooked on many of Velvet Cloud Vapor's juices. I guess I build coils faster than they expire, but even when I use 510 atomizers, they seem to last a while. I think this is better suited for really thick juices more than a Provari, but I tend to be a bit biased.

IMO a rebuildable atty or dripper will work with a micro coil and cotton. when the coil gets gunked just pull out the cotton and dry burn the gunk away, add more cotton and your good to go. Sounds like a lot to do but it will take less than 3 mins to do it all.
You can do all this with the mod you have.

Those look very nice! How often do you need to clean/replace the carto-tanks?

You have to replace the carto when it burns out, and that timing varies. I haven't used my carto-tank exclusively, but I haven't had to replace the carto yet. I've probably vaped 7ml or so with the same carto.
I haven't even thought about cleaning the tank. It's made from pyrex type glass, so I doubt it really needs to be cleaned. Maybe clean it when changing flavors?
If you are considering carto-tanks, checking out Baditude's blogs is a must!!

I would use distilled water for any juice that is going to sit around more than a day or two. Tap water has bacteria in it and you should not introduce bacteria to a liquid that is stored especially in a closed container. Think of botulism. PG has some antibacterial properties but I don't know what kind of bacteria it effects.

Cleaning the carto is for the wick and coil as much as anything else. I don't clean mine just burn or replace the heads. Sometime try using a fresh coil next to one that you have been using for a week or two. You will immediately see the difference in taste.

Some juices will gunk up the coil in a few days but usually they will last from a week to three weeks.
