Hello I am on the hunt for a new ecig. I have been smoking on a horrible vaporfi rocket for to long now because it helped with nic cravings but it tastes absolutely horrible. I am looking for a affordable (hopefully around $100) ecig that tastes good but also gives a good throat hit. I work construction so it needs to be durable which is why I stuck with the rocket for a while because I can drop it off a ladder with no damage. Any suggestions on what I should look into or atleast where to start looking is greatly appreciated!

Oh dear... poor you. The marketing machine got your dollars too.

Although I detest what they 'do', it shouldn't taste that bad... that would normally be more of a juice (e-liquid) issue.

Throat hit is hard to find once you've been vaping a while. Nicotine level, power and PG all play their own part.

18mg Halo liquid in a subtank hits powerfully (for example)... but 18mg is kind of crazy subohm.

I would suggest a box mod and one of the latest high power tanks... all purchased through a proper independent store, of course. People have got to stop spending $59.99 on a $13 subtank with green O-rings.

You might be interested in the Ego One. They cost around $50-$60.

I can't talk to you if you are dis'n my beloved vaporfi

Your nice AXIOM_1 but I tried some vaporfi liquids once - stock bought and ones I got them to mix together and they were monkey .... tasting juices ( Or how I would think monkey .... juice would taste) :)

Good choices have already been posted. Well I will assume as only used the kanger subtank mini out of the ones posted.

i think the best suggestion would be the heatvape invader mini, get mud on it, rinse it off in the sink. best atomizer to drop in the mud , tough one , probably the buhawi dripper, mud would make it in the drip tip, and the air holes, but just the top top cap of the air holes, which could be removed and blown out without making it into the chamber.

Cherry bomb nechanical box mod is $33 and complete except for batteries. It is a fixed 50-watt device that holds two batteries and the atomizer makes the taste fantastic and consistent. Not only will it survive a drop but is cheap to replace. Battery door is magnetic and easy to remove. Only bad is shipping takes about 3 weeks
a fixed 50W mech??? how is that so? the coil ohms and battery voltage determines the wattage....

mmmmmmm... Monkey ....

There are lots of options in your price range. Despite what @AXIOM_1 has to say, Vaporfi is just repackaged overpriced stuff. Go for a Kanger Subox Mini or the eleaf Istick 30w option.

By the way folks --- that was my usual dig at the vaporfi haters on the forum. I love to poke fun at the vaporfi haters... In all reality though I am sort of a vaporfi hater myself...... It's all in good fun and my prior post was just a total joke/fabrication.

I second the Kanger subox mini kit...It's a good kit indeed.

Vaporfi helped get me off cigarettes, juices and a starter kit. I don't recommend them but I thank them lol :)
