Looking to get fiance either new unit or nice mod for his EGO-T for Christmas. I find that whenever I vape from it I experience a bad burning taste more times than none. It`s a 1000 mah battery and we use a LR atomizer. I would like to go to a tank system myself, (getting sick of filling cartomizers and filters). I`m currently using just your basic 510 and the vapourstixx kit. I was looking at the double coiled carto`s as a alternative but not too sure. There is tons of mods options and I find it a challenge to find what`s compatible etc....We loveeeee vaping so need something that will provide good TH and lots o vapour! Any one got any suggestions or anyone in my area looking to see one of their units

I was using an ego t 1000mAh battery and got to the point of not being able to tolerate the burnt taste blah blah blah so I bought some 3ml clearomizers from gentlemens reserve and did the mod (3rd one down on the clearomizer page) and man oh man what a difference! I'd post the link to the mod but I'm on my phone. Anyway that's my suggestion.

I also tried the dual coils and they were ok. I much prefer the clearomizer. Nothing to fiddle with and I even devised a nifty way to clean them

Hi There are a lot of different tanks you could try. The cheapest is the $8.00 Chibi tank all the way to the Big Daddy All SS tank. There are some tanks that require you to use a longer or XL cartomizer. We have tried about 4 different models of tanks and they are almost all the same. You could also try the echo-e cartomizer. They hold about 2.5 mil and seem to have a nice smooth taste. You could always buy a VV device. They will allow you to adjust the volts or amps till you have the taste you like. One of the newer dealers canvape.com has a sale on right now with good prices on a VV lava tube. Good luck and happy hunting.

For me Carto tanks have become the way I vape--totally solves the carto filling problem! There's lots of choices(see tank master list).In Canada canvape and Vapor Geek sell a cheap Smoktek tank(haven't tried it) and Happy vapor sell the VPX Cartomator.They all work about the same--personally I've settled on the Big Daddy as my fave--they're in the US though--about 5-10 day delivery. The tanks will work fine on your Ego T battery although I agree you'd see a big difference by going to a VV mod like the Lavatube or Provari(expensive but great).Haven't tried the clearomizer's so can't speak to that.

They just opened and have a sale going on right now. 9.95$ for a 6ml tank. 2.29$ for replacement dual-coil cartomizer parts for the tank. He also has SmokTech dualcoil clearos on sale right now at 1.99$/each if i remember. These hold 5ml of juice.

They are right in Barrie, so you would probably get them within two days. I ordered myself a few of them just yesterday.

The Vision clearos from The Gentlemen's Reserve hold 3ml and work pretty well too. But they are on the pricier side at 9.99$ per clearo, or 40$ for 5-packs.

For all these tanks and clearomizers etc... Do you still need an atomizer then? Or would they just screw onto the EGO-T battery and be good to go? Also would I need some sort of tip for them?? Like a drip tip or rubber tip or something??

No need for atomlzers--for the tanks a drip tip should be used.Be careful of the juice you use--some will crack the tanks(clearos also I beleive). Blg Daddy Vapor has a list of problem juice...here

Don't let the list scare you!I would suggest you get two tanks though so if one cracks you have a spare.If you really like the carto tanks after trying them you might look at picking up a solid stainless steel tank from Big Daddy--nothin will crack them!
