You would think I would get used to the heat here in AZ after living here for 23 years...but you never really get used to it! It is currently 102 degrees outside right now and of course the sun is blazing. Damn it is so hot and we have only just begun..... I need to go jump in the pool!

What's the weather like everywhere else right now?

Ooo Ouch I could never handle that kind of heat. It's still only averaging about 60 degrees Fahrenheit here in Yorkshire during the day.

But it's a DRY heat!!! Believe it or not but you get used to the higher temps if you live here long enough. On top of that every place you go has air conditioning. The worst is getting in your car after its been sitting in the sun all day.

I love Phoenix weather. The heat means a return of the monsoon rains (in time). Best time of the year.

Even though I complain about the heat....I will take the heat over snow ANY DAY!! I could never live somewhere where it gets cold enough to snow.

I agree with you, I LOVE monsoons! I can't wait! We never get any rain, so when we do....we soak it up for all it is worth.

I love it here because of the heat. I lived on the east coast my whole life and here for the last 5 years. No more snow to shovel, no more leaves to rake, no more sub 0º winters.
All last week it was in the 100 range. Today cooled down to 98. I can't wait for July.
Here is inside car temp mid-day in July.

WOW - I think I would self combust!

For me, I love the change of seasons and I do like the snow.
Every spring, everything becomes new again!

I have a big snowblower, so the snow it is fun. I like to light a fire and look at the snow outside. Winter is a time to veg out and relax indoors.

I have a pool, love to swim and enjoy the summer here, but I do have my limits.
High 80's to 90 is about all the heat I can take.
Besides, if the seasons didn't change, the company would never leave - lol.
Really, I love having company!

I have a daughter that lives in Florida.
Not only does the heat make me crazy, but the bugs! WTH???
Lovebugs, fireants, mosquitos, lizzards, palmettos - yikes!
Not for me.

Sadly that rules out England then. You'll also miss out on lots of rainy, grey days. Sadly I don't deal with heat very well - my brain goes into meltdown and I simply have to drink gallons of cold beer to recover. :)
