haha that one with the baby is funny.

I was reading this thread thinking to myself "I could never use one of those" especially since I usually sit around in a tank top and shorts with a window cracked open in 30F & 40F weather. But then I read Labs comment about wearing it after a shower and that would be a good time to have one, the only time I actually get cold.

My husband bought me one for Xmas and I love my Snuggie! I'm six feet tall and it goes past my feet, perfect for curling up on the sofa to read and vape.

Since I'm either much colder (Snuggie on,) or much warmer (Snuggie off,) than him, it helps keep the thermostat at one temperature.

However, I'll never go out in public in this, it looks silly and it'll either drag on the ground or you'll trip over it.

i should print out a bunch with local high schools names and logos on them and see if they would sell them.. might get a bunch of ppl to wear them at the kids football games if they dont look like a smurf ..

i told my fiance that i was going to get her another one.. the cheetah print one and a cheetah print bed set so that she could be stealthy and sneak into the bed..

I wish I was smart enough to have come up with the idea of an over sized, ill fitting ugly bathrobe to be worn backward. Can you imagine the cash cow off of this thing? Sheesh. Even dogs want them. LOL

Have you seen The WTF Blanket (Snuggie Parody) on YouTube? Oh, and don't miss WTF Blanket 2 (Designer Snuggie Parody) too.

Ha - looks like a medieval monk in his apple green habit!
Can people even walk in these? Or are you doomed to a perpetual sack race?

:)

Sunggies are WONDERFUL!! You can walk in them, but do it carefully. LOL!!:) I got my feet tangled in mine when I got up to let the dog out. Not only did I trip, I scared the bejesus out of my dog. Took her days before she would lay in my lap on the snuggie!!!

How big are they? For serious I am a giant dude and would love sporting one in this cold as sin apartment.

6'6" 280 and wear a 3-4 xl shirt for shoulder room.

Here's a comparison of the ones that are out there.:D

Ultimate Battle: The Snuggie vs. Slanket vs. Freedom Blanket vs. Blankoat - Snuggie battle - Gizmodo

Both of these have multiple sizes

Bwahahaha! I was watching those vids the other night the "dead animal" version was particularly funny. :D

Watch some of the other stuff on the guys chanel if you have a warped sense of humour..."ping pong battle" is a classic.

They hit the UK a little whole ago now.

From what I see though they are marketed a lot differently in the US.

They appear on the shelves here next to things like "Toaster Bags" and other such novelty items. Basically gimmick items.

I was at one of the Range stores here yesterday and saw one (complete with a TV right next to it running an ad informing shoppers about the magical properties the Snuggie possesses). I've also seen a few advertisements on the TV and I LOL'd the first time I saw it.

I might get one though so I can stand outside and inform people passing by that the end of the world is nye...
