    ► Suorin Shine; First Impressions:
Suorin Shine Pod Kit is a discreet and minimalist device with a simple and easily transportable appearance and is particularly suitable for new vaper's who do not want complications. The body of the Suorin Shine kit is sturdy and light because it is constructed of aluminum alloy, has a single activation button and also the automatic extraction system. With a built-in 700mAh battery, it can work all day, if you are not a compulsive vaper.

Suorin Shine Pod houses an integrated 1.0Ω coil, the cartridge is refillable and has an e-liquid capacity of 2ml perfectly compatible with Suorin ACE which will be my next review:

► Suorin Shine; Fire & Led:
For this test I was sent a sample of Shine in simple Black color and I like it very much, there are also 7 other colors available for choice, all very beautiful, from the simplest to the most elaborate ones. Shine's panels have a very clean look with no unnecessary decorations, there are just a couple of small white identifying write's. The Fire button allows you to turn the mod on / off with 5 clicks, and if you want to use the button to vape it is very comfortable to operate, because it has an elongated shape, slightly protruding and easily identifiable by the fingers.

The micro-usb charging socket is located on the bottom of Shine, I was surprised because I was expecting a type-C charging cable, however the micro usb cable is included in the kit. The device can be recharged easily with a PC or with a common Power bank, the 700mAh of the battery will be recharged in about 40 minutes which is a pretty fast result.

For reports on the Shine charging status, the LED monitors the battery level during charging as follows:
    • The Green LED light is on when the battery charge level is between 70% and 100%
    • The Blue LED light is on when the battery charge level is between 30% and 70%
    • The Red LED light is on when the battery charge level is 30% or less

The LED also sends luminous notifications based on the intervention of one of the following six safety functions present on Shine:
    • Overcurrent protection
    • Overcharge protection
    • Low Voltage protection
    • Time out 5s
    • Open Circuit protection
    • Short Circuit protection

    ► Suorin Shine; Air Flow:
The air flow towards the coil on Shine is represented by two opposing holes on the body, the flow passes through the body of Shine and is channeled into an air intake on the bottom of the cartridge thus reaching the resistance.

    ► Suorin Shine; Pod compartment:
To hold the cartridge there are two magnets on the bottom of the compartment, they perform the task perfectly. In the compartment there are also two sprung and gold-plated contact pins for better electrical transfer, finally the automatic activation sensor of the puff is intelligently raised to avoid filling up condensation.

    ► Suorin Shine; Cartridge:
The Shine cartridge contains 2ml of e-liquid which are refillable through a side port which is covered with a silicone cap. The Driptip has a duck bill shape which is very ergonomic for the lips it is made of dark colored PCTG but it is transparent. So once the cartridge is inserted into the device the lower part is hidden, so to view the liquid remaining inside it is convenient to turn the device upside down and in the end it is quite comfortable to use. Obviously on the bottom of the cartridge there are two magnets and two pins that are mirror images of those present in the compartment of the Mod.

► Suorin Shine; Vaping test and final conclusions:
For this test I used an e-liquid composed of VG50 / PG50, mexico soluble flavor, and 3mg / ml of Nic. Shine's airflow is low-contrast MTL and the 13W of power Shine provides is enough to rank this little pod as one of the best in its class when it comes to flavor quality. The steam production is sufficient and the shot is spit-free, the shot is also very quiet and with a balanced hit in the throat. The mesh coil built into the cartridge is well crafted and uses 100% organic cotton, this all seems to work really well. The coil never overheats the steam, much less the Mod. I appreciated that there was also a spare cartridge in the kit, which is very useful if you want to use two e-liquids with different flavors at the same time. So would I recommend this device? Definitely yes because it works very well and without drawbacks, and it is really pocketable, I think Shine Pod is really suitable for newbies as it is very easy to use and offers enough autonomy for those who are not too compulsive in the vape! If you are undecided, you can also wait to read my next review of Suorin Ace which compared to Suorin Shine has a slightly larger battery and a higher power of 2W. You could also buy both (Shine and Ace) as their price is very affordable and both offer full compatibility of their cartridges.

I would like to thank April and Suorin for providing me with the kit. I hope this review was useful for anyone wishing to purchase Suorin Shine.
