We don't have that here in the UK KatyS. Smoking is banned in all public buildings regardless.

But i know what you mean about wanting to 'fit in' . what i think is that a landlord will have less of a problem allowing you to use something that doesn't look like a real cig in his premises than something that is near on indistinguishable from the real thing.

I find driping the automizer with 2 drops stops it getting so hot ...And if you drip the cart 2 your in good hands as long as you keep it upside down in your pocket :thumb:

thanks rustylug - the first thing I did notice is the atomiser on the super-mini gets hot, very quickly.

Wasn't allowed to smoke it in Doyles on Fleet Street (some Irish forumites may know this place). Showed it to the chap behind the bar, and he was more bemused than anything else. He got the concept but feared it may cause confusion amongst the other punters.

I guess it's a relatively new thing, so it will take a while to get full acceptance.

Indeed. And when you get a neg like that just keep it in your hand, pretend you're sucking a pen and don't exhale any vapour. And so - you win again. If they catch you, it's not my fault :)

Lol ... I thought part of e-smoking was to enjoy the vapour ....I love nothing more than blowing smoke rings.... I guess it will all take time, but e smoking is about beeing able to smoke withought the dangers of smoking "To a degree as its still new" ...Before anyone jumps me 8-o
Some will accept it and some wont ...Thats the bottom line  PS ....Come to think of it ...A tarten e-cig in Inverness would be a killer for visitors.

Sorry Rusty - my mistake - it's actually two blokes from Egham (which is the town where I grew up rather than the town where I now live):

The invention of Scotland - Telegraph

It's all in there :)

Now now, lets not believe everything you read in the Telegraph... While it is true that the modern kilt and tartan nonsense we see today is the work of the Victorians, the kilt, plaid and patterns (you'll notice it did not use the word tartan) are much earlier. I hate to quote wikipedia but Kilt - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia is not too inaccurate.

Of course you might just be in the "wind up the Jocks" mode, in which case I won't send you that bottle of malt :)

Mind you I think there is mileage in Rusty's tartan e-cig. With the pound worth tuppence now, the whole of Scotland will be invaded by our US cousins soon.

Get your genuine Prince Charlie e-cig here. Hand rolled on the thighs of maidens in Stornoway.

Every aspect of that last sentence in untrue :)

Just think what a black E-cig would look like with gold lettering saying BMW ...Or OOOO with AUDI in red through it would look like .... FORD in Gold with a big underscore in gold on black ... lol lol ...I hope i got the patent on this idea.
Well Rusty...I think that just might look a bit chavvy...you're not spending too much time wondering about what certain new e-cigs may look like when they're eventually launched to our certain shock and awe later this month, are you ?:)
