I've never been a member of a forum I dont even use facebook but I think its great all the information I can learn here. I tried a gas station e-cig n went through 9 cartomizers n like 2 days I thought u could refill the things somehow but couldnt figure it out then my buddy showed me a couple days ago n told me all about the juices so I bought 2 new lil $10 e-cigs at the tobacco store n love them :) cant wait till I can get me an joyetech ego or something bigger.

Welcome to ECF!
I've never been a Facebooker either, but I've been a member of other forums, and this is the best! IMHO.
If you are looking for something in the eGo range, I'd suggest the KGO. There have been ALOT of people who've started off with this, and it seems to be quite popular. eGo's are good, it's just those little 'A', 'B', 'C', 'T's at the end that people have problems with. Those little letters indicate the different juice systems that each carries. I know for a fact that there have been quite a few people who've had problems with the 'C' and 'T' systems. Mainly leaking. Which is why I would suggest the KGO.

Or if you're into variable voltage (VV) you might try either the eGo Twist or the VTube. The Twists don't have a starter kit, as far as I know, but here's a link to both of those.

Welcome and might I say, awesome decision to lay down the smokes!

I'll vouch for the Ego Twist. I've got a few. I can dial it in for that sweet spot on taste and vapor production. Not to mention I can use any 510 threaded device with it. Personally, I prefer tanks due to work and driving. When you find a setup that you like, you will be in heaven and that craving for a cigarette will be less and less. Just stick with it. Remember, the hardest part of quitting is psychological. Best thing about using a PV, I can name the only 4 ingredients in my juice.

I don't know about the Apollo part but as a beginner you really just have two choices unless you want to spend over $200 on overkill: a KGO or an Ego Twist.

The KGO is a 4.1v device that outperforms all of the regular EGO brand batteries significantly, while still retaining the precious battery life. Nothing is worse than being out and your battery starts blinking to inform you it's time to recharge and will no longer vape for you until you do, always without warning.

The EGO Twist is a NEW EGO battery that has a little twisty knob on the bottom of the battery that allows you to set the voltage to 3.2v to 4.8v. This on-the-fly style of variable voltage vaping gives you an extreme advantage in dialing in the perfect vape. Some people will inevitably tell you to get the expensive Provari, which is the undisputed variable voltage king of personal vaporizers and some people will tell you to get the Lavatube, his cheaper cousin. What they often don't know or forget to mention is that both of these units come without batteries and getting the right batteries for it that will perform well for you can be a bit of a pain as well as an additional expense. Not to mention, you're going to need more than one, and a charger. The other thing almost never mentioned about the Provari and especially the Lavatube is that it has a safety circuit which will not allow you to vape at high voltage on dual coil cartomizers, etc. You may be set to 6v and secret the thing's dialed you back to 4.4v and the only way to tell is with a voltage meter. To my understanding the twist doesn't have such a safety circuit so you will have to be careful not to put low resistance atomizers, cartomizers, etc. on it at high voltage but at least you can rock a dual coil the way you want to. As a result, the EGO Twist will actually outperform the Provari and the Lavatube in that scenario. You can get 2 "replacement batteries" for the EGO Twist system for less than 60 bucks, maybe a few more after shipping and a charger is thrown into the mix. This is probably your best option because you may find after a while that the KGO just doesn't offer this kind of variety in usefulness.

As for tanks, the Vision Vivi Nova is a tank system that is completely rebuildable. For a 20-ish dollar investment on the proper wire and wick you can rebuild it for life. They also offer metal tubes that make it downright indestructible for a slightly higher cost. At around 14 dollars a piece they come with 3 different resistance atomizers that you can interchange and also, when you get to the rebuilding phase, can rebuild and have backups in case of emergency and you need a quick change. One thing I would advise against is the Stardust which was the previous awesome tank to get. They are no longer rebuildable and they lack flavor. At around $5 a piece it's not a complete waste of money if you want to try a top-feeder tank out for kicks and get some experience with them. You can wash them out and reuse them for quite a while. I've put in over a month on the ones I have now.

Outside of the tank experience I can always recommend Boge Cartomizers (I use the 2.0ohm LR ones). They can be cleaned and will literally last you for months. They also suffer from a muted flavor situation though so that bears considering. I have never tried them, but people rave about the 1.7ohm Smoktech cartomizer (often referred to as the Resurrector) because they have a superior vape to all other cartomizers. I can't speak about their durability and longevity in cleaning but I highly suspect that in that they cannot compare to the rugged Boge Cartomizers.

TLDR version: Get 2 ego-twist replacement batteries with a charger, then slap a vision vivi nova tank or 4 on there and vape away. OR if you want cartos Boges are nigh unkillable, and smoktechs produce more/better vapor. Money vs. quality is the name of the game. Kay is utterly right in the fact that the C and T tank cartridge Egos are garbage and are notorious leakers/bad vapers. Disregard what people who paid for them say, they have to say good things about them so they don't look foolish for listening to the veterans tell them they kinda suck before they dropped their cash on them. :) (sorry C+T lovers - it's true!) :)

Always look around before you buy. Make accounts with all the popular dealers whose names you see flying around the ECF and then add the stuff to the shopping cart and calculate the shipping. Also take into account that dealers in your own state will be forced to charge you state tax. Once you find the cheapest price for it just remember to repeat the process for next time because prices change daily. Also search the ECF for active coupon codes for the best deals. If they have a chat integrated on their page do ask them for a coupon or discount code. A lot of suppliers often have a constant 5 or 10% off code that is always active.
