Super Over The Top Fancy DNA20 Tube Mod

Actually its the complete opposite from the title

I threw it together to test the size of the mod and to test out the 1000mah Turnigy Nano-Tech battery.

1"x7/8" pollycarb tube....with the ends the total length is 3.5"

perfect size! I like the look of the caps and visible hardware, different glue and i think you'd have more than a test device. What did the finished 510 connector height come to?

It's actually flush....the caps are aluminum so I used a brass threaded insert....right now I have the center pin height so it sets the carto just heigh enough off the base for air.

It reminds me some of Brandon's prototype, without the nails. Is the charger in there too? Some springless lipo connections?

I used some of my hex stock for the cap sleeve so the portion of hex sticking out stops the battery from sliding up all the way and took up the charger space in the bottom. So I need make a new tube or bottom cap to fit the charger.

Battery is just soldered in.

The tabs solder easy.....they are actually magnetic
