Super peppery e-liquid?

So obviously I'm new to this whole thing. I bought a tornado from TW and I love it (I have smoked one analog a day coming from 1 PAD). The tabacco flavor carts that came with it were terrible, so I bought some refillable's and then went and bought some VG 24mg nic e-liquid from Vapure. I bought Vanilla (good), Watermelon (very good), Cherry (quite good), and then there is Waffle, which tastes ok but has a massive pepper affect to my tongue and throat. It makes for a great TH but that pepper taste stays with you quite a while.
So my questions are... is it the e-liquid? Could it be giving a burnt flavor (that I think is pepper) because of the atty? Do they add pepper for a TH affect? Any comments will help.. thanks

Might be the nicotine your tasting as pepper. Most people say it tastes like pepper. Not sure why you would only taste it in the waffle though. There is also pepper extract some people use but i dont see why it would be added to waffle. Buy yes pepper is added for more throat hit by some juice makers.

OK makes sense if pepper is used. Man they sure went overboard with that batch, It's like sucking down pepper spray, or CS gas (for our Army folks)
