Title says it all - I'm super new to the whole vape business as I just got my MVPv2 in the mail this afternoon, it's working great!

I do however, have a super silly problem. I can't seem to get my iClear30 which came with the MVP off of my MVP unit. When twisting the tank it just spins forever, and won't raise off of the "beauty ring" and come off of my unit. What in the world am I doing wrong? It just spins, and spins ... and spins ..... and spins ....

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I tend to think of myself as a pretty savy guy ..... sometimes and have certainly tried twisting the unit as apposed to the tank. When I do (while making sure to hold all the pieces of the tank firmly) the tank remains still however the atomizer/wick unit inside (i think thats what they are called) seems to be spinning with the unit, while the tank remains stationary in my hand. Maybe this info will help shed some light on what might be going wrong?

First let me say the beauty ring is not necessary for function of mpv. With that in mind, get a pair of pliers and a piece of cloth, wash rag, etc. Put the cloth, wash rag etc around the base of the beauty ring and apply the pliers. You may end up scratching the beauty ring, but most likely save your clearomizer. Sounds like you twisted it on too tightly and maybe some ejuice got down in there and with the heat of vaping has stuck it together. worth a shot. If that doesn't work then put the pliers on the base of clearomizer with the wash rag. don't apply too much pressure, just enough to loosen it.

First off thanks for the replys.

I am however confused as to what the pliers would be used for, which is probably my fault for my inadequate explanation of my problem. I can get both the beauty ring and the tank to turn independently from eachother, but while turning the wick unit inside the tank still spins independently from both the ring, and the tank but spins WITH the unit itself.

Where exactly are you gripping as you try to remove the Iclear? Are you gripping the bottom of the tank just above the MVP beauty ring? In other words, the bottom ribbed part just below the 1 ml mark on the plastic tank?

I am gripping the tank in its entirety, being sure to hold the bottom metal ring, the clear tank portion, and the top ring. All portions spins together with the exception of the wick unit/atomizer thing in the center of the tank, which seems to spin with the unit as opposed to with the tank.

Then that means that the connector head is stuck inside of the mpv2 connection. You need to find someway to unstick it. And you are completely sure that the entire tank is assembled correctly? does the entire top of the tank come off? In other words, does the complete I clear30 come apart? if so, then you will lose the juice inside the tank, but I would start taking the whole tank apart so you can reach the coil and the heads and turn them and you can remove the plastic or glass of the tank.

I think you should disassemble the tank one piece at a time. Looking at my Iclear 30 the 510 connection is pressed in NOT a molded part of the base. I bet it's broken. Take the top section off, empty any juice, then take the clear plastic tank off. You should be able to grip the center post and unscrew. Hopefully!

Funny how an answer seems to hit some of us at exactly the same time! :)

Haha, thanks folks, I'll have to give disassembling the tank and unscrewing the middle wick portion a try. Do you think it would cause any damage to my unit if I continued to vape the remaining fluid in the tank? I didn't buy a ton of juice with my unit, and don't have much left outside of this nearly full tank

Try and save the juice if you can but if the press fitting is broke then you are risking juice leaking all down inside your MVP and ruining it. I would strongly suggest getting that tank off ASAP!
