Just received my Super-T1 this afternoon. I will kick off this new thread with my initial impressions of the Super T1 running an 801 atomizer at 6v. My 3.7 volt batteries are in the charger.

This device is really much smaller and more slender than I anticipated. It is 18.5mm wide making it the slimmest device on the domestic market. Think roll of dimes and you will have an idea of the basic dimensions. Very lightweight and should be comfortable in most any sized hand.

The button is suprisingly comfortable to use. I prefer using my ring finger over the pinky. The button moves easily and the locking feature is really well thought out. I was always a fan of the side button, but see no reason the bottom button will not become second nature very quickly. Button is easy to remove, the throw can be adjusted and the assembly should require little maintenance.

The airflow adjustment for 801 atomizers no longer requires seperate inserts. You simply turn a set screw in the adaptor to change the airflow for the 801 atomizer. I found it easiest to put the allen wrench (supplied) into the airflow set screw, draw through the atomizer and turn the allen wrench during the draw to dial in your preference.

Fit and finish is excellent. The knurled part below the atomizer and ringed areas at the bottom provide good grip points. I don't think this will easily slip out of my hand.

Tolerances are very accurate. The batteries fit snugly and do not wiggle inside the tube. The 6v extension sleeve is so well made you would be hard pressed to find the seam with the main body of the device. The atomizer does not wiggle on the adapter.

If I has to pick at it, I would say that there is a possibility of e-liquid to seep into the adjustable air chamber of the 801 adapter since the center hole of the atomizer is used for airflow. I can't verify that yet, but it makes sense this will happen, though the airflow chamber is completely sealed from the batteries making it dripping friendly. This would not be an issue with other atomizer adapters.

Several times I covered the airflow hole with my hand. It may be that I am so used to using a button on the side near the atomizer. I have to get used to not covering it up. Other adaptors don't have the ariflow adjustment so this would not be a problem.

The Super-T1 is a fine device and will well complement my DSE601 and DIY USB passthrough. I think I am done purchasing devices.

The Super-T1 is a fine device.

A few new notes, observations and answers to previous questions...

Vapor production and throat hit:

If you have vaped on a manual device at 6v or 3.6v, you can expect similar performance. 6v always provides bigger vapor production and throat hit over 3.6v.

Battery life:

I have no clue. I have been using the Super-T1 for a few hours at 6v. With my DIY mods, I would change out the 2 CR2's at least twice a day so I expect the same rate of change with the Super-T1. I have tried the 16340 3.6v, 880mAh battery, but have not used one long enough to measure vaping time on that cell.

Adjustable Draw (801 model only):

The 801 Super-T1 model has adjustable draw. It is a very useful feature to be able to dial in a draw to your liking on different penstyle atomizers. I would assume that the 901 and 510 adapeters (both w/o adjustable draw) would perform like they do on other devices. If you plan to use penstyle atomizers other than the 801 (i.e. BE112, JKBC-304, etc.), contact David for different o-rings for the adapter.

Approximate measurements:

Weight with 6v sleeve, 2 CR2 batteries and atomizer installed: Just under 3 oz/85g
Width: 18.5mm
Length: 90mm
Length with 6v sleeve: 101mm
Length with 6v sleeve and atomizer: 180.7

Tips:

Lock button when changing batteries and/or adding 6v extension tube. You will know what I mean if you get a Super-T1.

Keep the threads clean. You might want to use a conductive lubricant on the threads for silky smooth screwing action.

Shake out adapter at least once a day to get rid of any stray e-liquid in and around the connector. This is a good practice for most any device of this type.

Thanks so much "Breakfast chef"!! Truly appreciate your taking the time to answer, great post! I've been debating for a week now, whether to buy Super T, or not, I kinda want something that will last all day so I could just put the batteries in to charge over night, if that's possible. If not, that's alright, least I'm not smoking anymore (stopped after 31 years-YAY!!!)

Double YAY for you! I was off the cigarettes, but I suffered a set back when I lost my current high voltage device. But I'm confident I'll be back on the wagon when I get my Super-T.

Aw, crap, you drive a hard deal, but I must resist despite the most entertaining invitation.

More Tips (...You will understand when you receive your Super-T1.)

The button on the Super-T1 rotates some during use. It is very possible it can unintentionally engage into the locking groove. Don't freak out; just turn the button an 1/8 of a turn and you are back in action.

When running the Super-T1 in 3.6v configuration, I find that one washer and the locking washer under the screw head of the button assembly is ideal. In 6v operation, I only use the locking washer under the screw head.
