I don't think it's a particularly masculine looking device. Not any more so than the SD, Prodigy, SB, GG, etc., IMO.

I love the streamline, sleek style.

I really enjoyed your review. It was well thought out and put forth a lot of useful information.
Btw, the plastic ring on the spring is an electrical insulation so that it can't ground on the spring, it is an essential component.
