I have no estimate on the "box" mod unfortunately. I can say that it should follow the Shockwave. It's not a simple box mod, so alot of design considerations are going into it and i can't speculate on it's release but I think most will really like it. :)

All good things come to he/she who waits!

Revival indeed! I hope.

Oh my, I'm ready for this one if it's really meant to be. I got a Revolution 2 a few weeks ago and love it. But it's a little big, albeit lightweight for sure. It's a bottom-feeder and works like a charm. Cheap too. Ummm....I know David just loves suggestions so here are mine for his hopefully upcoming box mod.

Lightweight metal but steel threads
Variable Voltage or not
Styled like the Rev 2 but half as big (perfect in the hand) Flat top (no slope on top with button, too awkward)
Switch (button) toward upper left side of front like the Rev (just not on top)
Mechanical switch (button) if possible
4 to 6ml juice bottle (all internal no tubes sticking out)
maybe room for extra carto or atty inside
*tiny inset hole at the top for lanyard (like cellphones have)
extra bottles/needles available for purchase

These juice feeders are the cat's meow. I've been waiting for something like this for a long, long time, you know, but beautifully made. :)

*important!

Your requested features list looks a lot like mine. David definitely has his work cut out for him. He has five or six projects in various stages of completion. Last I heard, this was one of them, so no, he hasn't abandoned this project.

David is blessed with some of the most patient customers in the world. Ya listening, David??? Time to get these aged projects off the backburner and into our hands.:D

Nah, he's already committed to not releasing new products or initiating any new projects until he has all pending orders on the Precise line finished and shipped. Sorry for the looooong wait. :(

Unfortunately i don't have a guess or even an ETA as It's changed so much since my final conception.

I've learned a lesson though, that these threads remind me all to well of, and thats to not hype/discuss/post photos/videos of prototypes/designs and for that i owe an apology to all ECF members of as i've been all too guilty of that in the past.

Going forward, new products will be released/announced when they are actually ready for purchase.
