Supplier for Scratch Building

Hello All!

I know this info has to be here somewhere but the forum is massive and I have had a heck of a time trying to find a straight answer. Maybe someone can lovingly point me in the right direction.

Does anyone have a good suggestion where I might be able to find a supplier for scratch building? I am talking parts like the 510 connector that I can screw my tank onto and parts like that. I am looking to start building my own stuff from scratch and trying to find these kinds of parts has been a nightmare. I know I am searching incorrectly because I am ignorant to the proper names of some of these parts. Maybe if I can browse some good sites that sell this stuff, I can build a better vocabulary while I am at it.

I understand all the electronics and safety and such, but dang, it is rough trying to find the bits and pieces to build with!

I cant recommend any of the suppliers but I googled "ecig 510 female connectors" and found quite a few. Hope this helps.

hoosierecigs has z-max & groove circuit boards. I use them and madvapes. I'm looking up goodprophets as soon as I post this.

Any thoughts on what it is you're planning on building?
The 510 connection an easy find. But enclosures, boards, switches, battery type(and placement), are most likely going to be easier find with more variety at non-vaping site. I was just in a group buy and we got a lot of stuff from mouser.com.
I would definitely check out the modding forum for some ideas

The Modders Forum will have ideas, with parts lists, and links to the suppliers that have the parts of all sorts.
Check out the stickeys, read some threads, ask some questions...fiddlers, tweakers and builders always welcome.

Looking to build wooden pipes and also some steampunkish copper and brass stuff. After all, it is steam
