As a retired Naval Officer (30+ years), I applaud your movement and at times like this wish I was still in to enjoy the benefits. But I can offer one word of advice. I have served across the country and many bases and installations monitor their email traffic and don't take kindly to things like this! Hopefully others have more lenient base commanders.

Kudos Saby :toast:

I hope many more vendors will follow our lead in recognition to services rendered to their countries. The average civilian can only begin to fathom the toll serving ones country takes on ones family and friends let alone the individual. They deserve to be recognised for what they are someone who provides the blanket of freedom the avg individual enjoys vice being a tax burden.

I concur. Personal matters should be completed using personal e-mail.

I understand and if you have a better idea for some one to prove they are in the service i love to hear it.
But then again, sending an email with military discount in the subject bar and write down the text "there you go"
is not a big deal, i have seeing a lot worse.

Let's remember that email is the only thing we have to stay connected with home while we are away from home.

In our view folks, it is a lot safer to send an email than scanning your picture ID and email that to someone.
We don't agree nor would want our customers to email something like that,

I don't know about the east coast but here on the west we do have issue with stolen identity and scanning picture ID is a good way to stay safe.
an easy email is much safer for every one and specially customers.
and that is why we choose this way,

Using the subject line of Military Discount will not get your email flagged. There are lots of places out there that offer Military Discounts that do this. I am not worried one bit about doing this so I will send an email in the morning when I am at work.

fully agree!
