I stopped by Mike Pona's store outside Cabela's in the St. Louis Mills mall this wednesday. He has a dizzying array of juice on display. I wish I hadn't just received a shipment of juice from one of my online suppliers, because i would have got it from him and helped support his physical store. My next re-supply will come from him, for sure.
My first purchase from him was a juice that I thought I would like, and turned out to be not to my cup of tea. I thought something was wrong, but when I asked around, and turned out that the flavor was spot-on. It turns out that the particular flavor I THOUGHT I would like is always in conjunction with another flavor. Mike had suggested something different, but the "know-it-all" in me wanted that flavor.
When someone that makes and sells juice, then suggests one, give it a try. Don't be stupid in a "I know what I like" way.
He has a rotating bunch of samples out for trying, as well as a few different set-ups (eGo, kr808, leo, etc.) to try them in. Quality equipment for sale, too. If you are ever in the St. Louis Mills area, stop in and see him. I really hope he makes a go of it. His prices are totally reasonable, considering I would pay shipping on my online orders, anyway.
Nice to see a mall kiosk that is selling quality stuff instead of high-profit scam products.
