Ok, so I'm still new to vaping but I'm really getting to know my suppliers. Since July 13th I have placed orders from at least ten different vendors -- yeah I know, chalk it up to noob enthusiasm but one of those orders has really stuck in my memory. On 7/30 I placed my second order from SureVapes for some more Boge XL cartos. Imo a tank user can never have too many cartos, I mean if the zombie apocalypse or a meteor strike on planet Earth happens tomorrow I plan on being stocked up and ready on vaping supplies.
Anyway, due to some gitch in their software or whatnot those Boge XL were showing 'in stock' but they were really out of stock. Later I receive an email explaining the situation and offering me the option of a refund or two other carto choices, one of which were some boxes of smoktech 1.7 ohm which came to a total of 20 bucks. Two dollars less than my $22.00 original order so I replied saying the smoktechs would be fine and just on a whim I added... "maybe you could just toss in a red swirl drip tip and call it an even 22.00". I didn't really expect it to happen, why should they eat a dollar or even take the time to find the tip and add it in. It might turn into some bean-counter nightmare before it's all over so why bother, right?
Well imagine my suprise when I receive my package, open it up and find my cartos, a complimentary black drip tip and yep... staring up at me was the dark eye of a red swirl drip tip, a perfect match for my red ego twist. To top things off, I see a handwritten message from Michelle (is she as pretty as her handwriting?) apologizing for my inconvenience. And she even spelt my name correctly... that's Erik with a 'k' thank you very much. You'd be suprised how many people miss that even with it staring them in the face.
So on the one hand it was no big deal, it's just a drip tip right? But on the other hand it was a huge deal, a wonderful example of the thoughtfulness that seems to permeate the vaping community. So thank you Surevapes and vape on mates. Just wanted to share.
