The standard "end caps" from the DCT tanks we all have (3.5ml version) will fit this exact. I mean, almost too good like it was meant to be or something.View attachment 82058View attachment 82059

Its the same size as you can see in the picture as the 3.5ml tank.

I picked it up today at my local Lowes for $1.59 It is a standard 1/2" x1/2" PEX coupler.

IIf there is some adverse effect from copper, someone please tell me before I vape it too much and start growing extra body parts.

EDIT: Been advised Not to use copper in Tanks. Still cool though> Someone find a SS tube that I can pick up at lowes:unsure:

Copper can corrode and is not suitable to be in constant contact with juice. In order to use that tank I would suggest finding something to seal the inside (maybe some sort of non-toxic marine grade epoxy? I don't have any solid suggestions) to keep it away from juice.

Good thinking, though, and if you can find those couplers in another material than copper they would be suitable :)

Probably not long. The pH of your juice is going to be quite a bit different than your average drinking water, not to mention there is the chance of electrically induced acceleration of corrosion. The acceptable levels of copper in drinking water are something like 1.3mg/L, so it wouldn't need to leach much into your juice to be outside that spec.

I should have known by your avatar. Looks like you know a lil somethin about that kinda thing:p

Eh, I will continue to be on the prowl for something like this that the adverage person can pick up locally if need be. Lowes was out of the stainless steel version of this. JK:D
Here it is all trimmed down fitted with a reg carto.

Take a good look at this tank. I think this is what you are trying to do.

See the little black ring/joint inside at the top of the tank?

That is where this top piece is used.

All it is is a section of the shell of an atty/carto.

For the bottom (that goes into the carto) it's just one of those wide mouth plastic drip drips cut down a bit and shoved into the bottom. I cut a slot in it then heated it and bent the two haves out a bit for a tight fit. For the top use what ever drip tip you like. It now enables you to use any length carto you choose.

Neat idea for sure. I was looking for a heavier duty sleeve for the small tank. I'm sure there is something out there and someone will stumble upon it and save the day. I'm really waiting on this revolutionary new way to heat the juice that is unlike anything we are use to as of now. I believe its coming, things are changing every day and for the most part getting better.
