Sweet sweet vapor

So last Wednesday, I woke up and felt a slight tickle in my throat. I thought little of it and started my day off like any other. I got ready for my Noon class and drove to my school. Right before class I brought out my ecig and inhaled and had the worse coughing fit. I had been using the liquid for a few days and while there was a throat hit, it wasn't bad enough to make me sound like a 90 year old smoker (no offense to anyone :) , I inhaled again and found that I couldn't even take a full inhalation without coughing. I put my ecig away and headed off for class. While sitting in class, I started feeling more and more terrible, my nose started running and I got that gross feeling, the kind where you feel mucous sliding down your throat. Anyways, to make a long story short, I've been sick for about 5 days and haven't been able to vape for fear of coughing fit. To be honest, sitting here writing this was the first vape I've taken in what seems like a lifetime.

To be kind to my throat, I'm using my only liquid that doesn't have nicotine, but I'm hoping to try my newly purchased liquid from Shark juice tomorrow. So anyways, being sick got me curious as to how long you guys have gone without vaping, either because you ran out of liquid or you quit. Also, do you vape when you get sick?

I thought about vaping with my 0 nicotine juice for most of the weekend, but I pretty much just slept or sat on my bed with my laptop patiently waiting to feel better.

You, sir, have far more self discipline than I. I wake up in the middle of the night for a vape. And during the day, it's either in my hand or directly within arms reach, i won't stop for anything.

Allergic reaction to the ejuice?

I thought about it, but I was coughing up green mucous and it lasted far too long to be an allergic reaction. I had been vaping on it for about 2 or 3 days without any symptoms, but to be safe, I have set the liquid aside and plan on returning to it at a later date. I would hate for it to be an allergy as I really like the liquid.

if it keeps up switch up to 100% VG! When i first started after vaping for a day i thought i had strep or a sinus infection. went to the dr she had no idea what was wrong. this was 3 years ago so she knew nothing about ecigs so i quit vaping and started back smoking. well 3 years later i wanted to give it a shot did my research and sounded like i was allergic to PG. anyways im 3 months in with 100% VG and not one problem! So even if it is a reaction no worries theres still hope! GOOD LUCK and hopefully its just a cold!!!
