Ok, so this whole mix your own stuff is new to me. I was wanting to play a little and was all set to order, then there's all these drop downs. Flavor 1 ok, I can do this....clove
Flavor 2...ok, ahhhh, peppermint. Flavor 3.......nothing Sweetener.....I have no idea

I've been using just V4L juice and I have no idea if it's sweetened or not. Do I add sweetener? Will it taste like crap without it, if so, how much. Is it normal to add sweetener, I don't know.

So I'm asking advise, do I add sweetener or not.

Also I love butterfinger, is tastyfinger the same thing, and would you add sweetener?

It's really this whole sweetener thing that has me worried, could someone more knowledgeable than me (the bar is really low, I know) please help me out with this.

I have noticed that I actually like things a bit more on the sweet side. But, just like you I started with just V4L products and had no idea when it came to all the add this and that kinda stuff. What I actually did to make it easier on me was I ordered my liquid with NO SWEETENER. Then in the misc products tab, I ordered a bottle of there sweetener. 15 ml @ $2.00. Then I try the juice w/o sweet, mix a little batch with some sweet and try it that way. Which ever one I like better is what I go with. To figure how much sweet to add I used the base ref of 20 drops / 30 ml juice. I mix 4 drops to a 6 ml bottle for sample. Hope this helps out.

If you aren't sure, I'd say do not have them add sweetener. For $2, you can order a bottle of the sweetener from them. Once your liquid has matured, try it without the sweetener. Mix some with a little sweetener. You'll figure out how much you like very quickly.

One bottle will last you a very long time. I bought a 15ml bottle somewhere else in January, before I had ever tried TV. It's almost half gone. The only thing I really add it to is Peppermint. I like it straight (a sinus-clearing, brain freeze), sweetened (candy cane) and mixed with other liquids (which usually contribute the sweetness needed for the mix.)

i got a bottle of the sweetener by itself with my last order. i added about 5 drops to my strawberry cheesecake and now i can't get more than about 8 or 10 puffs without it tasting like dirt. i think it's just best to leave well enough alone. tried new addys cleaning old attys, boiling, alcohol, and vinegar. nothing seems to help this problem, so i don't recommend getting the sweetener at all. adding cotton candy or marshmallow seems to add enough sweetness without adding the sucralose based sweetener. I'm just not a fan

Be really really careful with clove in cyo VERY VERY strong flavoring!

I added the peppermint to the clove as a custom mix because that's what I do with my V4L juice. For me the V4L peppermint is way to strong by itself and the clove is to mild, but married together they are wonderful. Is TV juice stronger or something?

The clove flavoring is very very strong I suggest caution when doing cyo and clove. I did a custom mix several months back clove horchada and something else well it was horrid to say the least! Not Geoff's fault at all just my poor judgment! But the clove was such a strong flavor it totally put me off clove. I can't go anywhere near it! Thats just my experience.
