I have a pretty awesome lab set up...being I work in the field you could say... DIY was only a matter of time. I have been mixing and brewing some pretty spectacular stuff, getting some really thick vapor and great base flavors to work with. But here's a few questions for anyone willing to give me some pointers.

1. What can I use for sweetners...other than splenda which works great. I am looking for something that really gives you a sweet vapor...

2. Best vanilla??? I want a radically vanilla flavor...I have been boiling up Madagascar vanilla, you name it... I will even try ready made to add to my concoctions. I want a strong vanilla flavor, The kind that knocks your socks off, no doubt its vanilla..oh my that's creamy kinda flavor.

3.I am trying to match or come close...or even better than the Blu vanilla flavor. I am sort of hooked to it. any help would be deeply vaped and loved!

Thanks!

Sweetness for dessert non-fruit flavors - try a mix of ethyl maltol aka cotton candy flavor and the diluted splenda. Fruits usually just use splenda. Cotton candy is more of a burnt sugar taste good for creams and caramels etc. Some also like Bubble gum flavor for sweetening (I think). ANd Perfumer's Apprentice )I think) has a brown sugar flavoring that sounded interesting.

Dunno - vanillas are tough. The DIY section has a huge thread on Vanillas somewhere. And you have to be careful not to get ones with diacetyl (custard/butter flavoring, may be carcinogenic if inhaled) so that eliminates many. That thread I mentioned loved Capella Vanilla Custard and Capella said there is no diacetyl in it. However, at the time it could only be ordered from Happy Vapor in Canada. (and those are teensy bottles he is selling, not full size capella bottles). Check the Capella's site and see if they have it there now in the flavor drops. I got their Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble at the Capella's site. I also buy a lot of flavorings from Perfumer's Apprentice site which has great descriptions of each flavor and many have reviews or recipes. They have a new Vanilla Swirl which is one of their vanillas redone with no custard flavorings. BTW Plano 3630 latching boxes are perfect for storing all but the largest flavoring bottles.

Here's the Vanilla Custard

i might sound abit stupid but the sweetness of my juice comes from the flavoring (splenda mainly) and contributed also by VG since VG is naturally slightly sweet. =x

how exactly are you getting your splenda to lets call it "melt" or "mix". I really am into very sweet vapes...because I am a bitter person I think. I need these vapors to be sickly sweet so I can be down right jolly during this quitting season.

I am willing to try anything at this point. I did the cotton candy but its not all that sweet. I think I am wishing for the stars and sun. Leave it to a scientist to want the impossible. I am about to try combining cotton candy marshmallow and vanilla and hope for very very sweet!

I have read the DIY section pretty much top to bottom and the other option not mentioned here is going to your local GNC store and getting the liquid stevia. It's mega sweet. You will have to go look in the DIY section for how they mix it as I can't remember off the top of my head what most were mixing at. Hope this helps and keep on vaping :D
