A couple questions about the panel-mount switch with LED:
Is it shallow enough to fit in a 2xAA box?
Does the LED require a resistor, or is there one built in?

Also, totally unrelated question, will the 901 USB charger work with KR808 batteries? I know the threads are compatible, but I'm wondering if there is any difference in the voltage which would prevent it from working?

Finally got around to using this button in a box mod. Hoog was right, you just need to flatten out the tabs and it fits fine. The cool thing is that the hole required is just a tad bigger than the hole needed for the battery connector, so you can use your 11/32 bit and just ream it out a bit more. A 1/16 bit works great for carving out the keyway.

Some other observations - I used a resistor as suggested, and the light is not very bright. I suspect it's a 3V LED, and you could probably get away with not using a resistor at all on a 3.7V box mod. The switch itself seems a bit fiddly at first. The first few times I pressed it, nothing happened. Then it would only work if I pressed it at a certain angle. After working it in a bit, it now works exactly as it should. In fact, it's very sensitive, and activates at less than 1mm out of it's ~3mm travel. So if anybody builds a box with this button and it doesn't seem to be working, it might just need some breaking in. The spring inside is noisy and "creaks" every time you press the button. I'm hoping that will go away after I break it in a bit more.
