I had no tools for my first box, just a lighter, a flat head screwdriver, a nail, and a soldering iron. So I know how you feel.
But then the other day I heard about this store a few towns over called "Harbor Freight Tools".
I picked up this little POS:
Chicago Electric Power Tools - 12V Rotary Tool Set with 30 Accessories $4.97

I wouldn't use this on anything but this cheap plastic. Thing bogs down on plastic sometimes. But its so cheap, I don't care about destroying it. Its less than $5 LOL
Its good for sanding/melting plastic. I used it to make all my holes on the boxes and flashlight.

I bought the same one when I stopped in Habor Freight and seen them. Couldn't pass them up. They also had a 249 piece roto tool accessory kit for $14.99 that I got to go along with it. Really amazing prices. $20.00 for a roto tool and hundreds of roto devices to use with it.

to debook:
I have my 5volt regualters and pcb now, I am ready to do the 5volt next modding session...Soon as I order some batteries..

Also to others:
Yeah that harbor freight roto-tool will become a vaporizer soon as I burn out the motor. Its already got an on/off switch, and I can use the chuck release button to be my vape switch. I should have no problem getting a couple big batts and and a regulator into the housing. Now all I got to learn to do is install a usb charger, and find one.. :-/

Nice. Closest store here is about a half hour away so the shipping charge would be cheaper than fuel so I'll have to order me 1 or 2 of those. Thanks.

Figures I finally get around to going to order a couple of things there, including one of these, and they're all out of stock.
