I find my switch is too sensitive. Just holding it in my hand it will activate. I got some magnets and they made it even more sensitive. What can I do to make the switch where it is not so sensitive. Even if I lay it on my couch it will activate the switch.

Did you install 3 magnets or 2? reason i ask is becouse 3 magnets would make it less sensitive. On Vaporkings website he has a video on it..:)

Done that, but a better solution is required. We clean and disassemble often etc.

When I first made the GGTS it had no locking button like GGT had because the telescope part is a locking option itself my friend Hope. You just unscrew it and batetry cant make the contact. But I put it again there just for a second security option. So its not really needed, as the 4 in 1 connector is not needed too if we use the AVS. After AVS who wants to drip? But I left all the options there because the more options we have, the better.:toast:

ps...... The threaded button is the best option if we want to have the ability to clean it easy and often. If we use another locking option maybe it will make our life dificult:)

yea, I ruined my first cartomizer today because mine came loose. I was bent over working and about 45 mins into my project i noticed i smelt something good burning and realized it was my cartomizer burning up in my pocket..I pulled it out of my pocket and realized it burnt it up so bad all the black paper/plastic/whatever it is was melted off the sides and the white end cap was now completely black...

I found the best way to prevent this is by just tightening your lock a little tighter if you plan on having it to the side or in your pocket...Or if you wanna be extra safe just un screw your GGTS a little until hitting the button doesn't activate your atty or cartomizer..

for the record I still love my GGTS and this little problem means really nothing to me!!!!

Guess I'll have to wait until I can see it in person, but from the pictures (and judging from the way my GG slim looks), I like the older buttons better (all brass). I think my favorite is the original flat button that has the locking nut with the groves in straight lateral lines.

Tim, if you pick up a new button and end up really liking it and having no use for the older one, shoot me a PM. I was planning on purchasing an older button after I received my GGTS and sized up the new one. I wouldn't mind saving a couple bucks if possible.

Its not a problem my good friend CG because you telescope works as a locking option as you already said. And of course you can screw tighter the locking nut but not too much because you will not be able to unscrew it!! And if you want to screw the locking nut harder then you have to screw the base and the head of the button tighter so locking nut cant unscrew the head.

Its all easy on GG but you have to know the way to do it. Thats why I am here buddy:)

Imeo,
When is ROB (Vaporkings.com) going to have the switch with the shinny silver lock ring....? Lisa had/has it......

I am asking because I really like it, and wanted to switch some of mine out...

-Tim

This batch of GGs comes with this button Tim. I also send to sellers some buttons with silver knurled and some with brass knurled locking nut.
