Effect of continuous smoking reduction and abstinence on blood pressure and heart rate in smokers switching to electronic cigarettes - Springer

While reading a lot of the poisonous rubbish/pseudo science being put out by the enemies of vaping could actually raise your blood pressure, this paper does suggest that switching to vaping from smoking could over time help lower blood pressure.

I suspect a lot of us could confirm or have already discovered this, but nice to see something positive in print.

My mother in law had high blood pressure and now she doesn't since she has been vaping insteadbof smoking these last couple of years. The only lifestyle change she made was quitting smoking and switched to vaping. I definitely believe this. I've read where other people's blood pressure has lowered. I would love to hear from people who had previous high blood pressure and who are now vaping.

No idea if mine went up or down when I quit smoking. Five plus year gap (yes, ouch!) between smoking and vaping and saw a slight increase when I started vaping. Not going to claim this is scientific, but it should be more than mere anecdotal.

Average of 9 readings before adding nicotine back in my life. (Thanks mosspa!;))

Average of all 41 ranging from December 2014 until a few weeks ago.

*Believe it or not, beets! Buy them by the case and we split a can every day. Draw you own conclusions, do your own research. I am NOT a Doctor! Have been monitoring our blood pressure since my wife found out she has high BP. She also has severe 'white coat hypertension' so hers is not as high as her Doctors think it is.

vape for 3 months plus hmmm wherever i go to a GP the doctor will comment that my blood pressure is on the high side can't recall how much. Always suggest that i start on high blood pressure medication. But lately there was no such comment just say i need to monitor slightly over. So i know it does help decrease my blood pressure.
