Hey All,
I looked for any posts or discussions on my issue and haven't run across anything.
I have an original s-class

Normally use tanks like the billow at 30 W - .5 oms

Using Sony VTC4 and 5 as well as MXJO's and Samsungs, I could normally get almost a full day of vaping before it gets to 3.6.
I do use 1 or 2 other devices daily as well, so this is not my only device used daily.
I am finding that battery life is almost 50 % depleted for all batteries so I am assuming the issue is with the device.
Same 3.6 battery reading happens much much quicker.
I have plenty of batteries, but this seems like a sign of a problem ?
Tried cleaning the underside of the 510, but but seemed dry and clean

Any suggestions on cleaning ?
Should I remove the 510 screw to remove the Top ?

Any suggestions welcome

I'm waiting for my SX Mini to arrive, so I don't know how much help I can be.

However, I would NOT remove the 510 screw... I do believe that removing that could void your warranty, and I'm not sure how that could cause a rapid battery drain.

You say "I am finding that battery life is almost 50 % depleted for all batteries so I am assuming the issue is with the device"...

Not sure what you mean, exactly. If it's 50% depleted in half a day, that would reflect your normal results.

Perhaps you can expand on what the problem is, as nobody has as of yet replied, and I don't quite understand what the issue you're having is.

Sorry I couldn't be more help, but again, please expand on the problem you're having, and hopefully someone will chime in with some help.

I have a number of mods and have spent the last few months using the rDNA40 with excellent battery life. I just got an SXMini-M and have noticed a significant reduction in battery life in that mod with the same batteries.

My only conclusion is the Yihi 350J ( and possibly yours ) draws down the battery a lot faster than previous tech. I think its just this particular chipset. It may change with a firmware update or it may not. Not much you can do.

Its not your device and I wouldn't monkey with it.

Thanks for the response FC.

So used to Mechs where I could at least take them apart and ISO all the connections and the tube to optimize performance.
The SX mini is still a fabulous device. Now if they could combine that chip with the battery life of an istick50......
New devices have finally slowed down a bit to make room for the Sub Ohm clearo races, but I'm sure we'll see a new crop coming soon !

Well, whatever you do, don't unscrew the 510 pin because its a spring loaded 510. Doing so will break your positive solder joint and render it useless (and Yihi will not fix it because its user error).

I'm seeing lower battery life as well, but that is one heck of a chip. It likely takes more battery power just to run the chip than other mods. Mine doesn't seem as bad as yours, but I have several devices.

I'm noticing a lot of my batteries lately aren't lasting as long as they used to in any mod. I guess that's aging of the batteries.

I know this is a silly question, but have you looked at the Joules meter right before swapping out the batteries?

I usually get between 21-22K Joules worth of vaping out of the new Efest 38A 18650 batteries. They are 2100mAh, similar to the VTC4.

I'm not saying they're the same quality, I know better, but the capacity is similar :)

It could be that your batteries have lost some capacity over time? I would see how many Joules you end up with in the meter after depleting a battery, and then try a new battery (preferably the same model) and see if the results are any better... Batteries will lose capacity with every charge cycle, so if you charge them frequently that may be the culprit.

If you're getting in that 21-22K territory though, I would say all is well
