SX mini Q help

so today I woke up to a sx mini q that wouldn't fire.

The mod reads the resistance of the tank, recognizes the battery voltage, outgoing voltage, and joules consumption while the fire button is depressed but it will not fire the coils.

I've tried swapping the tank out to one that works on a different mod so it's not the RTAs.

Tried reinstalling the batteries to no avail.

Tried firing it in novice mode to no avail.

Tried cleaning the contact on both the tank and mod.

Anyone?

Is it reading the resistance correctly or is it just showing an old resistance? I'm asking because it sounds like either the chip is shot or a problem with the 510 to board connection. Is there anyway to reset/reboot the device. Possibly reinstall the firmware. I wish I could be more help but I don't own the device. Almost sounds a little like the problem Phil Busardo had with the ML during his attempted review.

Hey Steve,

It's reading the right resistance. I had to rewatch the busardo ml video. And my problem is different. It still shows no atomizer when nothing is connected.

Everything works (haven't tried TC joules) according to the menu screen minus the actual firing of the coils.

I'm going to try to see if there's a firmware update or see if the sxQ software can fix it. If not I'm going to contact yihi

Contacted yihi.

Asked for receipt, warranty card and a video. Expected and all sent. Let's see what they say.

Tried a 3rd rta on the Q with different batteries and still no firing even though the numbers on the menu shows that the mod should be firing the coils.

I'm guessing it's a problem with the 510 and board connection.

Many faults w/mods have been traceable to bad grounds. Something to look at in the unlikely event you get no satisfaction elsewhere.
