Syringe + Boba = not working

I'm new to syringe filling but i realize its benefits. ive got an 18 gauge needle and it wont suck up my Boba! maybe i need a 16g or bigger, but i did read somewhere that i can warm up the liquid to help the syringe suck it up. whats the process on that?

The thicker ones will finally come up an 18 but it takes a bit longer... to warm it you can put it in a cup of hot water.... I like the hot water better than the microwave...

that sounds like the ticket. cup o hot water it is. you shoulda seen how hard i was yanking the plunger to the syringe. damn near popped a blood vessel LOL

It is some thick stuff. I use an 18 or 20 gauge and it does alright. You can always put it into the empty syringe first then screw the tip on. I think that method eliminates a lot of spillage and such.

Crap...I just ordered a syringe specifically for that stuff and have no idea what gauge it is.

I bought a 14 guage (read a recommendation somewhere) Works fine. HTH

I always use the syringe you can just pop the plunger out of the back and pour the Boba's in....there normally cheaper anyway. Your not just fighting the viscosity of the juice when you try and suck it out but also the fact that that most bottles don't let much air in so the bottle fights back.
