Do we really throw anything away?

Noper... OK, what do I use these syringe plunger X shafts for? There was a few suggestions over on the DIY syringe tank thread. But I already had eliminated those.

I guess I could have saved the barrel for something, but I tossed it.

Oh, I threw a bunch of those away too after making way more tanks that one person really needs. Sorry Iffy. Maybe I should get your address and start sending you a 'box of crap' once a month or so.

Another board I used to be on, we used to do a crap exchange about 1x a year. We'd all box up some stuff that was basically what we considered not quite trash, and send it to someone else on the list. It was fun to see what sort of things you'd get. I sent someone a bunch of quilt squares that didn't make it into the quilt, a book from the 1970s on rectal surgery (illustrated), a SPAM cookbook, and various other things that were destined for a garage sale.

Maybe it's just me, and I'm sure that using a syringe is a great way to fill, but there is just no freaking way that I'm ever going to use one. It's already hard enough when I need to explain what that little back case is with those little bottles of liquid and those other strange contraptions are. Glad it works for you, but I'm going to sit this one out.

I use one syringe for filling and don't bother cleaning it. The little bit of liquid in it won't effect the taste when I'm switching to a new flavor.

I kind of want to switch to the blunt tip ones. I've already stabbed myself in the chest once while drunk (holding the syringe and telling a story, the syringe stuck. lol). I've come really close to stabbing my fingers countless times as well. Maybe I just shouldn't fill cartos that way after having a lot of beers.

Dispose of them? Who makes these videos? As my dad used to say, some people can complicate an empty room. Good grief. I love how people try to make this all scientific and overly complicated. Did they say to wear lab coats and those little paper booties on your feet too?

what about masks? Am I supposed to be wearing a surgical mask when I DIY? :)

Dont throw them out. Just rinse well with water and your good.

AMP,
I saw you said your pushing the filler down. To avoid this take your top cap off the cartomizer, then using your syringe angle it so they tip goes against the wall of the carto. Slowly slide the syringe down the side until you hit the bottom. (Not thru the filler!) Add alittle, then take it out and do the same thing in a different spot so its evenly distributed. (I normally do it in 3 spots. Like a triangle) It makes sure its perfectly even. When your done, put the cap back on and put the carto between your hands and rub your hands back and forth quickly. This will spin the carto and make sure the juice is even. Then your ready to vape!

I use sharp needles instead of blunt bc it makes it much easier to slide down without getting caught on the filler.

Buy a 5-pack of cartos from CCV and he will give you a free syringe(Sharp one)

Just explain to them that it is not a syringe. It is a ""Flavor Injector" :)
