Look up Farm Supplies in the yellow pages. Every Farm Supply store carries them for use with farm animals. Since they are used on large animals like cows, they carry the large ones you need.
You might want to look like a farmer, say jeans and t-shirt when you go in to by them, rather than ti-die and a bicycle, to avoid any issues..

lol...I disagree. I think he should not shower for a week and go in wearing ripped jeans and a ripped shirt. Walk up to a sales rep all shaking (drooling may be a nice touch) and ask if they have any syringes.

My wife works down on East Hastings and promised to get me some from Vancouver Needle Exchange, lol, but I think those would be the sharp ones.
I just picked up two medicine syringes from london drugs for 2 bucks each. No needle tip, but they will be handy for making precise measurements.

It's probably further than you'd like, but if you happen to visit WA state, pharmacies here sell them. I bought some BD syringes packaged with 22 gauge needles and was able to also buy 18 gauge needles at the same time, at Walgreens.

Main and Hastings. That should be a great tourist attraction for all the visitors we're going to have during the olympics. I ended up just getting a couple oral syringes from pharmasave for now. 25 cents each. London drigs give them away for free, but the syringe to too big to measure small amounts. It looks like happy vaper and electronic cigz both sell the syringe with the thick needle. I'll just have to wait till my next order.
Just picked up some at the local drugstore. Came to $3.60 for 10, 8 cents for the needle and 28 cents for each 5ml syringe. The gauge of needle you want is 18G 1 1/2. This is the same as what electronic-cigz sells. Also ordered a litre of PG for $20.
