There are only two brands of drip-tips I like, Super-T of course being one of them. They have me so spoiled, you can pretty much drip a bowling ball through them blindfolded, and so comfortable. I've grown particularly fond of the Shorty, and today I received my first Whistle Tips. I like them, too! When it's in your lips you barely know it's there.
Anyway, somewhere I read something that alluded to Super-T having *invented* the drip-tip. Is that true? Like invented invented, the first one?

Yes, Super-T invented what is now commonly referred to as the Drip Tip and manufactured the world over. Modders had previously taken the stock atomizer plastic push in tips (which fall out) and drilled them out or the rubber gel sleeves that go on pens to work as tips, but those were just adapting other products and didn't work as well (and hence never took hold) as the purpose invented Super T T-tip Drip tip with it's unique O-ring retention design.

Any plans to do the traditional style in satin? I need to order some more soon, but if you are going to do these in satin finish I will probably hold off until you get some ready.

I'm with you... The Shorty Contoured SS 510 T-Tip is my all-time favorite t-tip/drip tip ever! It's just perfect imo! :thumb:

Yes, another one of David's clever made for mom inventions. :toast:

Back in 2009, all of the e-cig carts came with those awful rubbery tips that don't stay put on your atomizer and constantly fall out. I was always on the floor, under my desk, searching for those darn things. I asked David if he could please make me something that would stay in place on my atty and requested that it be made out of metal. A short time later, he presented me with the first drip tip. David made the tip out of brass and it snapped right into place on my 801 atty. It was beautiful, and thanks to David's retention design, stayed firmly in place. And...you could drip into it!

I'm so jealous of those of you who have been doing this for longer, watch it evolve and have been involved in its creation. Sometimes I feel like a piker, a hanger-on. But then I see you talk of 2009 like it was a hundred years ago - when I relate my 265 days to that and think of the things I've seen in that time it makes me feel like the grizzled coot that I am.

Thanks! (I think).

I started collecting them back in the good old days in 2010. I have them all except the satin. Just got a shorty and my next battery order will include a long one for sure. Got a custom satin tank from the tank king he had custom made from a VPX tank. So now my p+ 18650 is almost perfect. Just needs to be Kicked!
