Just had my 2nd T3 Head go dead within the past week and neither of them were more than a couple weeks old. Did nothing out of the ordinary as far as use goes that I'm aware of. Is anyone aware of a production problem with the T3s or have any idea what I may be doing that's just causing them to fail? I mean, I know 'heads' don't last forever, but hope a couple weeks use isn't the norm. Appreciate any help...

Note: One thing I have noticed with the T3s is that they start off with clean vapes (one hit/one nice smooth vape) and then they, very quickly, drop off to not-so clean (takes a couple short hits to get it to fire and vape) ones. It that normal?

I think you either have real bad luck or got cheap knockoffs of the actual Kanger T-3's. I'd contact your vendor, if I were you.... There should be a return on anything that isn't LR. low resistance.....

Now I'm getting really frustrated!! Up to my 4th one that's gone bad -- one started leaking like a sieve on the first refill after working perfectly on the first one and another that was DOA out of the wrapper! After all the build-up about their reliability and such this is getting really frustrating!! Think I will contact the supplier, but I honestly don't expect much in the way of support on such inexpensive accessories...

I never use the stock heads from the T3's. I realized very quickly on my first one that I would not like how they vaped. I rebuild mine using 3mm Silica wick and 32 gauge Kanthal, and other than the occasional condensation build-up in the tube, I never have had any issues with them.

Again, I'd contact the vendor... these things vape well right out of the wrapper. (if you're having trouble with this you don't want to start rebuilding coils and wicks! :facpelam: )

One thing that can happen is that there are three silicone seals on the coil unit. And two of them can slip down when removing for refill. The main one that tends to move from its place is the one above (when upside down for refilling) the threads - push that up against the knurled part. If it drops down into the threads it will get chewed up and leaks could occur. The other one that can get out of place - but rarely, is the ring just below (again when the unit is upside down for filling) the wicks. The middle ring should be ok but you could check that. Then you have to tighten down on the knurled part as well as tighting the whole unit against the batt connection.

I also suspect that your 'DOA' is a centerpost problem either on your batt or the T3 - I haven't had that problem with T3's (I have with vision stardusts, though) so it is most likley the batt. Take a hard toothpick and pry up slightly around the center post - make sure when you're done it's still 'centered'.

But again, contact the vendor - price point shouldn't be a factor - if you return them they may have a better idea of what the problem is.

Contacted the vendor and was told there was only a '24-hr' warranty on the heads as they're consumable items... They have, however, offered to replace two as a 'courtesy'... So, have opted to take what I can get from the vendor (a couple being better than none at all) and begin the learning process of how to rebuild T3 heads... Certainly not to outcome I'd prefer, but a bird in the hand and all that...

If these are top-feeding clearomizers, I've had no luck either. Even rebuild them and they still stuck. The first couple hits may be nice but then I keep getting burnt tastes. After much frustration, reading and buying the rebuildable materials and still having no luck, I gave up. I use carto's now.

The T2's are top coil/wick. The T3's are bottom coil/wick.

If it suddenly fails, it is not making contact - pull center pin slightly.
If it steadily gets weaker - it is getting clogged and needs cleaning/dry burn.

Search Kanger T3 there are a lot of simple things to keep/make T3's work great.

You did not state what device you use them on. If yo are changing devices
What type e-liquid you use
What, if any maintenance is ever done.

I simply rinse and dry mine after a tank or two depending on juice. After a few cycles I pull the lower pipe off rinse the flavor wicks well and dry. Dry burn the coil to remove gunk build up and reassemble.
None of my T3 coils have failed in 2 months of use.

I am about convinced that some of us are natural enemies of clearomizers. I watched my boyfriend vape from the same brand/type of clearomizers I did, never maintain them and have them last a couple of months. I have done under a day and had one be functional for a maximum of 2 weeks. That's ANY brand that looks like that or a CE. I had to switch to cartos because I couldn't order clearos as fast as I used them up and it's really hard to get the juice out and back in another.

Wow, I've got a couple T2's that still have the original heads, working great, seven months old.
