Hi

My word of caution about your list is regarding the T3 (current model is the T3s) which is the only one there that has a plastic tank. If you haven't run across this issue yet, you need to watch which flavors you can put in a plastic tank or they can crack/melt/shatter. The first time you trash a plastic clearo because of an incompatible flavoring you will just wish you skipped the plastic ones to begin with. If you are interested, see here for more about that issue: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/219179-lets-make-list-juices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-40.html

Personally I like the PT2 mini but haven't tried a PT3 version yet.

P.S.: If you are looking at the EVOD too the same matter applies as with the T3s. The EVOD may have a metal outer shell - but it's only a cover for the plastic tank underneath it.

Between the 3 I prefer the mini pt2.

I like that glass is more stable than polycarb. It doesn't degrade and possibly add chemicals from the more acidic juices. The glass is not very fragile I have dropped my mini's quite a bit and have yet to have glass break or chip.

I don't find I need a tank with measuring markings. If I'm mixing nic strength or flavors I just go by drops. Same way I cook btw, I rarely use measures. I eyeball it just like my grandma taught me when I learned to cook.

I've not personally found enough of a difference between the 2 and 3 in vaping that would justify the expense and hassle of changing to the dual coils of a 3.

I've not tried to rebuild a dual coil, and although it probably is just a few more steps than a single, again the less hassle part comes into it for me.

Hey pokemom! I have a mini PT2, which I like because it is glass. I use EVODs mostly, but I just ordered some Smok Aro tanks (which look a lot like the EVODs, but they are pyrex interiors, and less expensive than the PT2.) My EVODs really haven't been disposable (except for the shiny red one that cracked on the first day I used it ) I do swap the coils (pretty cheap - <$2 a coil) to extend their life. I think I fried one about 5 weeks ago (when I first started using the EVODs), and haven't lost one since.

I like my PT2 (although there's a tiny whistle - another thread tells how to correct that). Don't know anything about your other two that you've referenced.

Got some iClear 16 tanks with my first VV3 (not crazy about them - I keep frying the wicks and I'm not sure why). Also got the iClear 30 with my MVP. Haven't fried it (yet,) but it's that bigger tank size that like you, I'm not all wound up about.

I'm thinking my Smok tanks should be arriving via vapemail tomorrow. I'll try to remember to pop back here and let you know what I think of them. (Hoosierecig.com has them on sale, and I found the ECF coupon for 5% discount) If they turn out, they may become my go-to tanks.

Good luck!

T3s, EVODs, mini pt2 are all good. You can get EVODs in glass in version 2 too.

Mini pt3, not too keen on dual coil. Expense, hard to rebuild. But if you are interested in upgrading from BCC (as all the tanks mentioned here are...) look into AREO bases for your tanks or get Aero mega tank.

And look into MPV 2.0 to pair with your new tank and you will love it.

Cheers

Pokemom, just got my Smok Aro (pyrex) tanks this morning. I am NOT displeased at all :) Huge capacity (close to 3mL, I think. They are longer and heavier than my EVODs, but for <$8 each, I'm hoping to get a lot of mileage from them. They're a bit top-heavy on the VV3 (but still manageable.) Not bad at all on the MVP2. Even feels pretty well-balanced on my Spinner. The draw seems very smooth to me - not overly airy nor overly tight, IMO.

Please note, Choc_Addic is referring to a Kanger tank, I'm referring to a Smok tank - they are different.

Enjoy

I love my mini PT3s. Vapes great, looks great, and easy to take care of. The heads are a bit more expensive, but they're still pretty cheap. And they can be rebuilt (and as single coil if you don't want to mess with building a dual in there). My only real complaint is that I like a tighter draw, but that can be fixed with the Aero base.

The Mini Protank II has been the easiest clearo to maintain among all of ours, but hubby and I switched to cartotanks and haven't used them in forever. You may want to look into cartotanks. They taste better, come in glass, and you can even get custom paint jobs for them. We get ours form IBTanked. A 15mm tank would fit an eGo device the best. If you get a beauty ring, it'll fit flush all the way through.

Thanks. I hate to show my ignorance but what is a "cartotank"? I looked at the site & it looks similar to what I'm using. What's the difference (why does it work differently)?

Where do you get a glass Evod? It's about time they made them. I have had the best luck with Evods.

I have MT3Ss, PT3 Mini, and Evod Glass. I like them all (even the plastic ones). A few points:

The single coil heads for the T3S/MT3S can be used in the PT3 Mini instead of the dual coil.
The Evod Glass cannot use the T3S/MT3S head. However, it has been reported that by using a PT2 Mini base, one can use a standard single coil Evod head (have not tested).

I got my Evod Glass tanks from Sweet-Vapes: http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_color_plus.tpl&product_id=3200&category_id=46

My wife loves her PT 2 mini's, she's not sure about getting 3's though, just because she already has 2 types of coils for her T3S's and her minis

All she needs to buy is T3S coils, which can be used on both her TS3's and PT 2 mini's

Puffing on a PT 2 Mini with a T3S coil as I type this. :vapor:
