T3S help

I have 3 T3S tanks, I was wondering how often do change the wicks.

There are so many variables. Power, types of juice, amount of use.. When it doesn't taste good basically is when you change it, or if you're switching flavors and don't want to mix them. Like coffee to skittles.

Great thank you, as you can tell I'm a noob so I value any help I can get, there are just so may sites and they all have conflicting views on changing the wick. It took three minutes here, to get the right answer where as other sites confused me. Thanks again.

You can dry-burn your coil to get a little more life out of them.

Be careful when your buying the heads for your T3. You have to buy the T3 heads. Protank heads look like they fit but there is a gap where the inside tube meets the silicone cap and it will leak. There is a temporary fix that works OK of flipping a second silicone cap upside down.
The flange on the T3 head is smaller than on a PT head so thats why there is a gap on the bottom and inside the tank. If you put them side by side then you'll see the difference in the heads.

Wow thanks I wouldn't guessed about the dry burn and the advice about the heads is greatly appreciated because I was going to buy heads instead of wicking materials.

i would have to agree when it stops tasting good or vapor diminishes i used to pull wich out do a few dry fires and then rewick with cotton

I used the T3S for a long time. It was my go-to tank for Spinner type batteries and also my doomed Evics (the orginal).

I guess I spent most of 2014 rebuilding the atomizers with wire and wick, as I got bad tastes and leaking after 4 or 5 days more often than not.

About a month ago, I ordered some new Kanger atomizer heads (from Fasttech, China). They are the same old design only with cotton wool instead of silica. The ones for the T3S are called TOCC. (I also bought SOCC and VOCC.)

So far, they have been really good. I'm afraid my experiment was kind of stalled by attending the UK Vapefest, where I was mainly using drippers and sub-ohm tanks...

I would recommend you try the TOCC... just watch for the price on them. They'll be variable as they are newer. I paid $4.50 for a 5 pack... so they'd be about $9.00 from a US store (I guess)

When I use clear tabacco flavor juice I can get 1-2 weeks out of a coil in the T3s and I chain vape all day. If you use dark or sweet e-liquid like cakes, nuts, chocolate you will get much less. Best place I found to order coils from is Fasttech. Takes awhile but free shipping and if you order enough less then $1.00 each.
