Iv just got some tabac bcc and having problems with them, harsh burning taste. Iv been vigilant not to get any juice down the middle section so it cant be that. Its just a new one I opened, it was like that on the first night so I left it overnight and it came good but when I refilled it again its got that burnt taste, left it overnight again but still got it after about 3 puffs. I only use menthol 18mg, any suggestions welcome.

Welcome , not familiar with that particular bcc , but if it comes apart , you should clean it , and do a dry burn on the coil . That should get rid of any left over gunk . Or if you have a replacement head , for it , change it out , and see if you see any improvement . Good Luck

UPDATE... Just did a search , and indeed , these look just like Kanger T3's . So you should be able to unscrew the bottom , and clean the bcc in very warm water . Then take just the head , before you re-assemble and put it on your device , and do a few dry burns ( press the fire button , for several seconds , at a time ) this will help clean the gunk , off the coil . You will know when it's done correctly , as you should see the coil , burning bright red . Again Good Luck

Tabac BCC is the exact same clearomizer as the T3.

There are a few things you need to remember when using a T3 or an eVod or a ProTank:

1) Make sure that the atomizer coil is screwed into the base tightly--they often come not fully tightened from the manufacturer, or may have gotten loose through repeated refills.

2) Look at all the inner seals and gaskets to make sure they haven't become dislodged.

3) Make sure that you screw the tank into the base tightly. If it's not tight, it may leak.

4) When you screw your clearomizer into your battery, do not overtighten--screw it in only until it makes contact--no farther, or you may push the center post in too deep and cause all kinds of problems, including leaking. When the draw becomes tight or the taste and vapor production begin to diminish, replace the coil. This will happen sooner (even as soon as one day of heavy use) if you're using dark, viscous, or very sweet juices. The old coil can be cleaned and dry burned.

and

5) Make sure you're not getting juice in the center tube when you're filling--this will cause your eVod to leak like a sieve. If some juice gets into the tube, close the top cap and blow gently through the clearomizer to get rid of any excess eliquid.

Good luck!

Thanks Katya, some good advice, Im not getting leaking though, just the dry burnt taste randomly.
Thanks Renzuli, it had only been used for half a day so I wouldnt imagine it would need cleaning yet.
It has been working fine all day now and have come to a conclusion that I will keep 2 on the go and fill one and leave it till the other is empty, give them time to soak up maybe. Also have my xxxl dual coil clearo on standby, never fails me. Still cant think why it just does it randomly though. Just got me a batch of these too so need to get them dancing to my tune, thanks guys

What helped me in the same position as you and read that if before you push the button to vape take a few drags before hand to help in draw liquid to the wick and coil. Hope it helps did for me. But still don't know why when mine stands up when not in use

I think that it may be happening because an occasional air bubble is be blocking the pathway to the coil. A priming vape (without activating the button) sucks out the air from the tank and allows eilquid to flow freely to the coil.

Just a theory. Anyway, it works, so who cares why? :D

Happy vaping!

I agree with Starlight and Katya. I also find that as you draw out liquid a vacuum can form in the airspace since these are sealed and there is no way for air to get in. Once in awhile if you blow into the tip just a bit and then look at the tank you will see an air bubble rise from the wick. This adds a bit of air pressure and is usually enough to get some good vapor going. But there is a feel for this that you have to develop because if you blow too much then it will flood and you will get gurgling. I find if you just keep vaping eventually it goes away, and one side effect of it flooding a bit is the flavor is enhanced by quite a bit.

On a side note I just rebuilt a Tabac BCC coil yesterday and it is working great so far. I don't understand why people are trying to go for lower and lower resistance. I am using a Ego V, and my rebuild ended up being 3 ohms. I just up the voltage a bit and the vapor seems to be much better than the 1.5 ohm I was using previously. Tried the first stock 2.2ohm and I think I am sticking with the higher resistance atomizers with variable voltage batteries, WAY less burnt tasting draws.

With the low resistance you have less/larger wire that heats up to a higher temperature at lower voltage. Below a certain resistance (1.8 ohm in my experience) changing the voltage does not do much, and the wicks cant keep up so you start getting burnt tastes. I realize this may not be exactly true for other 'mizers though. With a higher resistance there is more wire (at least in the one I rebuilt) so the heat is dispersed over more wire which actually gives you more vapor of a better quality than brute forcing it. The wicks and temperature of the coils seem to balance better and before where I was getting burnt taste every hour or so, I have not all day.

Of course the 3 ohm atomizer is useless with non-variable batteries, since the voltage coming out is not anywhere near what I am running at (4.5-5V atm, probably could go more but the flavor and vapor is enough for me)

These observations are just what I have experienced lately with the Tabac BCC, other 'mizers probably work different so really low resistance atomizers may be what works best for them.

If anyone is interested in rebuilding all you need is a paper clip, really small flat blat screwdriver and probably a philps screwdriver. All the pieces slide together and the coil is held between the sliding pieces. Only trick is seating everything properly and trimming to wires to avoid a short. I used these two parts for the first rebuild:

https://www.vaporgeek.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_102&product_id=100
https://www.vaporgeek.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_102&product_id=90

The second trick is to get enough wick so the atomizer does not flood, but not so much that the liquid can't feed properly. Using the pre made coil and dropping it in, and unravling the 1mm wick and stuffing in on top of the coil after mounted before putting the top post back on seems to work well. Also this setup is at 3ohm, less may not work well with this combo, but next time I want to aim for 2-2.5ohm and will post back the results.

Not sure if others are doing this, did some quick searching and did not see any results come up.

Edit: Forgot to mention I am in no way affiliated with vapor geek. They happened to have DIY supplies when I went to order 1.8ohm replacement coils that my usual store ran out of and I ordered a bunch of DIY to see if it was possible to rebuild since I was placing an order anyways. But from my experience they have been great.

I as well have bee having problems with these. I have bought a second and am having same problems as you but MORE of them. With both of these once i changed liquids they began bubbling and spitting liquid into my mouth as well as being harsh. i have done eveything cleaned it made sure the seals were good and still leakage. This leakage isnt just when vaping but if i turn it upside for a few moments or if i kind of sling the pen liquid will come flying out. Can anyone suggest a sure fire atomizer no leaks, with big plumes of vapor. PS i dont need a tank it was just what was avialble, but one is nice
